Plenty of CL action again.
For the English clubs, City & Liverpool both have tricky looking home games, against Leipzig and Milan respectively.
Some tasty ties elsewhere, Bruges-PSG, with Jack Hendry in the Bruges defence.
Inter-Real you could argue is the battle of the debt ridden sides.
Dortmund already 1-0 up at Besiktas.
Champ also has 6 games, and if Forest don't get a positive result tonight against Boro, I sadly can't see Chris Hughton being in post for long.

Bellingham scores for Dortmund at Besiktas. Some talent at 18. He is the real deal.

Think you’re right about CH which says more about Forest than Hughton. The bloke has been handed the dirty end of the stick many times because he is not seen as a big name. Yet, there aren’t many more with experience of every level of the game as both a player and manager and when the planets align some club is going to benefit.

Agree he was harshly treated by both Newcastle and then Brighton, and if he does get the boot they'll be looking to appoint their 13th boss in 10 years, how on earth is any manager supposed to build something when the owners have no patience.
I can see several Championship sides snapping him up if and when a vacancy arises, which knowing that division it undoubtedly well sooner or later.
Part of Nottingham' Forest problem is many of their fanbase are still living in the past, and comparing the current era to their glory EC winning days of the late 1970's, and they haven't even been a PL team this century.

Yep all conveniently forgotten that they are just were they were before the Clough/Taylor bandwagon rode into town, those times were exceptional in their clubs history, that it is near impossible to replicate.

1-1 at Anfield, don't ask me how, but it is.
Edit 2-1 at Anfield, this game is

it's been all Liverpool for 45 minutes, and 2 defensive lapses mean they're behind.
2-1 at Man City. game on again.

Greavsie tells some great stories about joining AC/DC Milan. Not sure I can get patriotic about Liverpool v Milan anymore; which is a shame, they just seem like tag lines these days.

They didn't kill the game off in the first half hour, and Salah's penalty miss is now looking costly.

wonder what Klopp will blame if they don't turn it around ? my guess is Tarkowski's tackle on Richarlison !!

It’s a long time since I felt so opposed to Liverpool that I cheered when Arsenal won the league… Klop if nothing else has taken me back.

I note that Coventry are going really well this season under Mark Robins. A fine player in his day. Also the three promoted clubs in the Championship are all in the bottom four. Looks trickier every year to stay up at that level.

Yes there's normally a surprise package in the Championship, and this year it looks like being Coventry.
Fair does to Mark Robins for the job he's doing there, and I'm glad their fans finally have something to cheer, they've had a hard time of it in recent years.
Mark Robins is probably best known for scoring the goal that saved Fergie's job when he netted the winner at Forest in a cup tie.
