Must agree. Breath of fresh air. He might even bring us the luck that we aren't getting right now.

He looks a long way of starting on today’s showing. I’d be amazed if he starts a premier league game anytime soon.

Ridiculous statement, obviously fishing.

Agree - the team that ended the game, bar Jay, must start from here.

One of the things that annoys me about Dyche is he often doesn't give players credit in interviews. He was asked on 5Live yesterday, something along the lines of "Cornet had a good game when he came on, you must be pleased" and he did everything he could to not agree with the statement. It's almost as if he can't let a player get credit or be singled out for praise. He pointed out that Everton wasn't the right game and that Jay and Vydra had come on too and done well, not just Cornet.
It's not isolated either, I've heard him do it with Pope and others after they've had a good game. I'm sure he thinks it keeps players grounded but personally if I was a player hearing it back afterwards I'd think wow, the boss can't even acknowledge that I had a good game. Other bosses don't shy away from praising their players and it's annoying when Dyche does.

There certainly looks to be a decent footballer in there but not up to the demands of the Premier League just yet
Having said that, he will only improve with more experience of game time
Playing against Rochdale will help but SD needs to show some faith and start him against Leicester

One of the annoying traits of Dyche is that he never seems to offer a gesture towards players that are subbed
The top managers always find time to thank a player coming off for their efforts

Normally he can just say thanks in the changing rooms 30 seconds later.

I think the fact SD praised Vydra and Cornet suggests they will start next PL game

First of all I think Maxwel played well when he came on.
But if I was Sean I would not start him he looked as though he still needed to get himself a little more familiar with how we played ie tracking back etc.
The signs are good . I would start Vydra and bring Maxwel on like he did today to give him a good amount of time on the pitch. He gave the players a lift and the supporters.

It’s funny that the players you refer to rarely seem to be upset when not playing or showing any kind of discontent. Maybe just maybe they don’t need to hear him telling the media how well they have played when he does it in private. For the few faults that Dyche has his references to players (or lack of them) is certainly not one of them. The discipline of nearly 100 games without a red card suggests to me that the players are motivated by pretty much everything the manager does.
