Then, manager Darren Moore left and since they have won 3, drawn 4 and lost 18, are 6-0 down at Ipswich tonight and bottom of the league.

3 wins in 25 league games is very poor. I think we are currently at 2 wins in 15

The table for the 2nd half of last season (23 games) had them finishing 2nd bottom of the league and they have carried that poor form over into this campaign.

Life is never easy for Donny Rovers, the town seems to have as many leeds and sheff wed supporters as Donny supporters. Finances are always a battle. The last published accounts for Club Doncaster for the year to June 2020 show a loss in excess of £3m and the last 12 months or so cant have helped the situation that much even with the return of fans to the grounds. All of this leads to a huge turnover of players incoming and outgoing so that of the 11 starting against Ipswich nine could not muster double figures of games for Rovers being new recruits and loanees who arrived in the summer. The positive that they do have is that the owners are local businessmen committed to the town and club but for all of that the roller coaster world of life at the Keepmoat is likely to continue. And then there's me being just a small additional part of the problem Rovers face as i bring my two 20 odd year old Doncaster born sons with me this Saturday with their claret and blue shirts to watch us beat Norwich in the Premier League, its all a world away from Donny Rovers situation.
