Just want to mention John Pilling who won the Best of Lancashire award for grassroots sports last night, a well deserved award for John who has done so much for local league football for many many years, well done John

Well done John, always one of the better members of the committee. Was always up Towneley on a Sunday rain or shine making his way around the pitches.

Give me a chance to play again after being banned from the league for around 2 years for being a stupid young lad.

Well deserved.
