If there are three worse teams than those two in the PL I would like to know who they are.

It’s fine someone will have a 7/10 against Chelsea when it doesn’t even matter

We are certainly looking it right now. And so important supporters get behind Dyche and the players.

On that showing it certainly looks like it, we looked clueless in the last 3rd.

Next 4 are very tough games, sadly even a great return of 4 points good see us cut a drift a bit and playing catch up

Wouldn't be traumatised if we were relegated as it's a far more enjoyable experience but I don't think we will be.

Bookies still think we're more likely to stay up than go down. Poor result that though, Norwich are really bad.

4 wins in 27, no home wins since January, setting a club record in the process, barely looked like scoring against the one team worse than us, on the occasions we do take the lead, we don't hang on to it.

Not much going for us is there?

Why would any Burnley fan be fine with us relegated to the Championship? I don't get this.

We'd lose some of our best players to balance the books and there would be no guarantee of coming back up. And if we didn't, you'd be one of the first to wish we were still in the Premier League.

Can’t argue with this.

I am of the opinion we’ll finally succumb this season.

Like you say, we’ve been in a real rut for the best part of a year now. And still, we have no clue how to get out of it.

We've had a good run, but this year Norwich aside I don't think anyone's weak. And we're slowly going backwards while teams like Brighton improve and evolve.
Hopefully we'll pick up form, we can do better than this, but this is a 3 or 4 year problem really. We just let the squad age and peak without investment at exactly the wrong time.

Got to admit its not entertaining or enjoyable going on the Turf at then moment , even the seasons we were relegated they showed passion and fight. This season especially at home looks like we are going out on a whimper. My opinion is 3 seasons of staying with basically the same team is now starting to show, new blood is need is needed in the first team either 1-2 per season. We have become stagnant
its not looking good

Doesn't Cornet meet your 1-2 per season threshold? He's clearly going to start now whenever he's fit.

The very obvious decline in attendances would suggest that the style of football on offer is an issue.

Yes, I get the novelty of the PL wears off eventually, and then there is Covid to throw into the mix.

But let’s get real, the football is turgid. I’m a big Dyche fan, but there needs to be little bit of entertainment on offer for people to part with ever decreasing funds.

I was wondering why fans on here were claiming 4 wins in 27 is ''just a blip, a bad start''. It's alot worse than that....

This 11 isn't good enough anymore, we all know that, we desperately needed severe improvements in the window and we bought 1 player to instantly start games? it's nowhere near enough.

''This isn't just a bad start, this is a clear athletic decline''

I doubt you'll got many answers to that :?: just as I failed to get many suggestions when I raised it a few weeks ago.

And the reality is SD isn't going to be fired when he's signed a new contract just a couple of weeks ago.

Dyche continues to stay loyal to the same old 4 strikers who are totally out of form.

Why not give some of the U23s strikers a go. It surely can’t be worse! It’s frustrating that Dyche appears to come across as stubborn.

Re-signing Lennon was diabolical imo.

Give youth a chance Sean.

Could do worse than stick Cornet up top, although I'd sooner have him deeper and help make us tick.

There’s literally no chance. Aside from a couple the younger players seem to have been systematically removed. Was there a player under 30 on the bench today for us ? It’s concerning re the mid-longer term not least as Sean is likely to give contract extensions to a number of the creaky knees that are out of contract at the end of this season. How long as Longy got left ?

It’s the poor transfers that is costing us, we don’t have any options to play any other way now.

That game today was a must win. Norwich are woeful and we although we’re better than them are a poor side.

Some heavy investment in January required and hopefully
We are not adrift.

A great game from Collins though

I thought we had a decent transfer window. We just need Roberts and Cornet back fit.

Looking down that league table, there are not 3 worse teams than us.

Norwich are, Watford maybe, Brentford could yet implode, it’s a long season.

There is just a huge huge lack of quality in the final third. McNeil is one dimensional, Lennon isn’t PL standard, neither are Barnes or Jay.

Only an opinion but a few years of underinvestment is coming home to roost this season because other clubs have overtaken us and signing 1 attacking player in Maxwell isn’t going to change that. It’s going to be a long season.

Collins looked solid, pleased for him.

We've won 4 games in 27, what are you basing a top 10 finish off other than lala land opinion?

''Tammy Abraham, Ross Barkley, Jack Grealish, Hudson Odoi, Loftus Cheek aren't good enough for Burnley''

I think you stating we'll be okay has harmed our chances of survival.

Who thought we'd beat Man United at Old Trafford and ruin Liverpool's record at Anfield.

We were minutes away from beating Leeds and had Cornet stayed on, we'd have beat Leicester. We've drawn games we should have won, and lost some games we should have at least drawn.

I am not usually a glass half full person but today I think we actually played well. We had loads of chances and just didn’t get the run of the green. We had them pinned back in their half for long periods and forced loads of corners. Yes the corners were poor as were Taylor’s numerous crosses but on another day we could have bagged loads. Norwich we’re not much better than Rochdale but we managed to put away our chances against them. Just need a win to gain some confidence. Sadly I thought Jay Rod offered nothing and think we would have been better to go five in midfield and leave Wood upfront on his own. Think we could have made chances then.
