Not according to Simon Jordan:

The thumbnail on YouTube says 'would BURLEY.....' they can't even be bothered to get our name spelt correctly!

There’s only about half a dozen teams that wouldn’t.

Listening to the video you linked I thought Jordan spoke really well making many intelligent and accurate points. The title is not reflective of what he said and the context in which he said it.

If Leicester city or Wolves got relegated they'd, like us, would be forgotten about within a season or two.

I think most non Clarets would be delighted if we got relegated.

Every year Burnley are favourites for relegation, they depend very much on their manager but every year they confound their critics and survive ( just like Crystal Palace). Nicely put Mr Jordan and very true, long may it continue

Clickbait at its finest there in the OP

Always found Simon Jordan to one of the worthwhile contributors to that station - just a shame he’s on with Jim “I’ve just received a text from the agent of” White

Jordan is correct in what he says and how he’s said it. As a product, the Premier League will not miss clubs like Burnley, Wolves or Palace if they were to be relegated, and there are possibly another 10 clubs that could be added to that list

We don't really appeal to non Burnley fans. Same style of football for every game, a reputation as cloggers (undeserved), poor atmosphere and no co-ordination when different stands are singing different songs, or even the same stand
We don't need a Drum to produce a co-ordinated atmosphere (we do though), lots of empty seats, trouble in the stands.

A selection of 'fans' booing 'The Knee' something that Players feel passionately about and only serves to reinforce the opinion that there is an element of racism involved.

Other than that, no.

Let's face it if you were a neutral would you want to watch us?

Some who aren't "neutral" can't wait to stick the boot in either

Are Rovers, Forest, Sunderland, Bolton, Portsmouth, Sheff Weds missed ? As is fairly obvious and already mentioned, there are hardly any clubs who would be missed.

Most of the clubs are just there to make the numbers up to satisfy the league, you can’t have Man City & Chelsea playing each other or Liverpool & man United playing each other every week or fortnight others have to be involved & play a small part in the competition that is the premier league.

We would be missed when absent.

Everton are now, not dissimilar to our style. That is Benitez and yet he is lauded.

The Prem want big city teams with big modern stafiums to look good on TV.

Home town team passion is no longer what footie is about, to them.

TV would be happy with a local Derby being Chelsea versus Ajax.

I've no idea where you got that from, each club receives the same amount from TV deals which is completely unfair to begin with really. If the PL really cared about Burnley not being in, they'd limit the resources given out to sides like us who offer really nothing to the league. We don't re-invest the money we get, we don't sell tickets, we play boring football even our own fans cant bare to watch. I'm a Burnley fan and even I find us dull. I think most neutrals would rather see progressive exciting sides like Brentford, packed out noisy stadium and good football. We certainly haven't been progressive on the pitch for a long long time, we've just banked the cash and stuck around.

Add to the fact we've always got lots of empty seats now and that's not what they want shown across the globe

Brentford are a current exception.
Most of the others just attempt the most boring pitter patter, ball retention, do nothing football. I would rather do an Arteta and watch our grass grow!

Yet, Brentford have had 15 fewer attempts at goal than the Clarets with 3 fewer on target and in total in the games they have played there have been a total of 157 attempts with a total of 46 on target compared to the games the Clarets have played with 199 attempts and 60 on target.
Both clubs have featured in 7 games where a total of 16 goals has been scored.

“Home town team passion is no longer what footie is about, to them” it’s never been any different since the inception of the PL & sky became involved, the average armchair which is a figure well north of a million want to see big teams & world class players performing anything less isn’t palatable.

Sorry to say

But we are playing old fashioned football

In an old fashioned ground - no it does not have character, it's a poor half attempt to being modern

That's not been full unless against one of the top sides, and even then not guaranteed

And, for God's sake, stop singing that bloody awful old fashioned song, "in our lancashire homes" - just sums up the atmosphere

And so have loads of other clubs. Pep Guardiola has been pleading for fans to turn up to watch Man City, for example.

To be honest the media would prefer it with just spurs and arsenal, they struggle to show much interest in any club not based in north london.
as for missing Burnley, I think a lot of fans would, especially the older age groups who have a good sense of tradition and recognise us as a club with a great history.
I have known Liverpool based fans of both the everton and liverpool who live there, but spoke very highly about Burnley. They knew many of our players past and present, and remembered fixtures involving the respective clubs going back decades. I think same applies to a lot of other teams too.

Most fans you talk to in every day real life don't share the opinion of those 'readers'. They are sponges who are influenced by selective journalism and idiotic comments by opposition managers.

The fact is, a lot of them are bitter because at some point we beat them. They don't like the way we are forced to play, but what they don't realise is it's the clubs they support who create the issue to begin with.

We play to win with what we have, if it wasn't for the ridiculous money being pumped into the game giving almost every opponent an unfair advantage over us then we too would be able to play attractive attacking football each week.

As in many things in modern Britain it would be split
The older generation who remember what ots like to support your team through thick and thin, would.
The younger arrogant trophy hunting type wouldn't.
Never mind the quality ...........

Spot on. When teams like Leeds and Newcastle were in the Championship there was a lot of neutral football fans who wanted them back in the Premier League whereas for teams like us and Stoke nobody gives two sh*ts.

Its like if Sheff Wed or Forest were up there challenging for promotion there would be a lot of football fans wanting to see them back in the Premier League because of their history and their size.

Thats just the way of the world and nothing as Burnley fans we should care much about

I think that tradition of visiting Turf Moor because it's quaint and a tad 1970s has worn a bit thin and most opposing fans now regard it as a bit of a Shlthole its only my opinion Elwa...but it needs to be brought up to 2021 standards while we seem to have the money to pay for it,if we fall out of the Premier League it might never get done, and that would be a real shame..Up the Clarets. ;)

My favourite away ground. Number 2 was filbert Street as that low roof made the noise levels sound great. I suppose it is now carrow road. And Wick because they did lovely burgers.

I'd miss Everton and man city because of who they are not.

A friend of mine bought a house because one of the Maine Road stations came down in the back yard… it meant he got free season tickets for life…. Until city moved to Groton three years later

Of course they wouldn't but that's the case with most of the clubs in the PL. The bigger clubs only want the most money generating teams for them to play to make money from and that is not us.
