Online ticket sales
Wonder if anyone can help.
Trying to buy tickets for Southampton, I get all the way through and as soon as the screen changes to allow me to pay it jumps back to my address and says there has been a problem, check address and try again.
Same thing happened earlier this week with the Spurs tickets, eventually I called the office and they did the transaction over the phone.
Just wondered if anyone had a fix for this - thanks!

Re: Online ticket sales
Hi Tony,
I couldn’t see any reference to the game at 5.10
Anyway, found a fix- was able to order them on my phone absolutely fine. No idea why a lap top won’t work.
Only problem is I got the 2nd ticket as an OAP instead of an adult….

Re: Online ticket sales
Morning all, I have been waiting until General sale as I need a 3rd ticket next my son and I for my Grandsons first match so was hoping to get on first thing this morning to get 3 together. When they say general sale from Monday 11th do they mean Midnight or 9am? only reason I ask is the online is still showing my season ticket seats in my basket ready to purchase and the stadium is near capacity?
Re: Online ticket sales
Can't log on again this morning to my account to buy tickets.
I tried Thursday and Friday too.
Each time I try it says email address not recognised, even though I get Burnley news and newsletters to it, its registered for my season card and I've had it 10 years.
So I try to register a new account using the email, and it says email already in use.
Obviously I've emailed the club, but no reply.
Think I'm upto 20 unanswered emails, and 1000 calls that never get answered either.
If Alan Pace wants to no a reason crowds are down, the shambles that is the ticketing system and office is most certainly a contributing factor.
I've never known it this difficult to give a business your money.

Re: Online ticket sales
I found l had to type my email in character by character rather than use the predictive function. I also then used a laptop with proper keys rather than a tablet or smartphone. It worked for me.
Re: Online ticket sales
I've had this quite a bit in the past. For some reason the address it had saved wasn't a valid address in their format so whenever it tries to use the saved address I get an error and have to enter my address again.Burnleyareback2 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 5:46 pmWonder if anyone can help.

Never mind, we have new flashing and scrolling adverts in the ground
for those fortunate enough to be able to actually get in there.
You can't have everything for goodness sake.

can't access the website this morning!

Re: Online ticket sales
Add my name to any campaign to remove the distracting/flashing/scrolling adverts round the pitch. Getting rid of this trash is far more important than safe standing areas imo.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 10:55 amNever mind, we have new flashing and scrolling adverts in the ground

Re: Online ticket sales
I've had a few emails about the Spurs game which I was a bit meh about whether to bother with. This morning I thought I've got nothing better to do on the night, I'll get my seat. Log onto the website, select my seat, add it to the basket and bang I get the error
'Shopping basket entries are unavailable. Please try again later.'
Aye right.

Are the tickets not already in your basket? Mine were when I last logged in.dushanbe wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 2:54 pmI've had a few emails about the Spurs game which I was a bit meh about whether to bother with. Re: Online ticket sales
Purchased for League Cup and just bought Southampton. Now 4000 points needed for Soton.
I was 40 points short of 6000, so those two should reduce that to 20!

Re: Online ticket sales
I was passing Burnley whilst Arsenal were in town and considered pulling in to try and buy a ticket. Knowing how badly the site is was a massive reason for me not to bother and just drove back to Newcastle and watched it at home instead. The ticket platform is shocking.

Re: Online ticket sales
Went online earlier today, got two tkts for the Spurs cup match, one ST one non ST not the slightest problem and I`m no technophobe.
Re: Online ticket sales
But that only highlights the inconsistency of the system, sometimes it works but a lot of the time it doesn't. Which makes it a poor system which urgently needs sorting!claretgimmer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 12:40 amWent online earlier today, got two tkts for the Spurs cup match, one ST one non ST not the slightest problem and I`m no technophobe.

Re: Online ticket sales
if you bought them together I think it will reduce it to 30 Ian
...unfortunately you only get 10 points per transaction
Re: Online ticket sales
Are you sure? I thought that it was 10 points per game.claretblue wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 12:34 pmif you bought them together I think it will reduce it to 30 Ian

Either way (and it is per match) I purchased on different days, owing to 6000 point barrier.

Re: Online ticket sales
You get 10 points per ticket, not transaction. The only time points are not awarded is if you are purchasing more than one ticket for one game with the same Clarets Number.claretblue wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 12:34 pmif you bought them together I think it will reduce it to 30 Ian

Re: Online ticket sales
It's not a great website, each time I try and do anything I get this. I then have to go back and start again. Obviously my accounts are already linked.

Re: Online ticket sales
Southampton away ticket.
Available Tuesday 12th online from 17:00
with 2000 points.
It is now 19:15 and asking for permission to buy with 4000 points !!
How many times do I have to keep checking for 2000 point purchase ??
This is getting to be more than tiresome

Re: Online ticket sales
For games like Southampton I don't know why they don't just put them straight on general sale. It's obviously not going to sell out.

Re: Online ticket sales
The switch to 2000 points was finally completed around 9.45 this morning - about 17 hours late. It’s unbelievable that they can’t find a school leaver to type one line of computer code so this could happen when it was supposed to. Or just farm it out to an e-ticketing company.Doctor_Marina wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 7:16 pmSouthampton away ticket.
