December TV dates

Post by PremierLeagueClass » Mon Oct 11, 2021 12:15 pm

Will be announced today according to the key dates page. Do they normally stick to these dates? Don’t normally pay that much attention but waiting on a date for the Newcastle game so anxious to find out!

The dates are all provisional.

The November announcement was made 8 days later than provisionally scheduled last month.

I was told last week that they will be announced today or tomorrow.

Info was from Friday and PL were still hoping to have the December fixtures out by today with a proviso they could be a day late.

The Jan fixtures won’t be included but could be announced by the end of the week.

Got a feeling Newcastle may become a lot more popular with Sky and BT.

They will be changing what they want since the Newcastle takeover.

They always seem to have had greater coverage than their position in the league warranted so goodness knows what will happen now.

They're a massive club, so no surprise they're on regularly.

Doesn't look like they're going to be out today now either.

I don't know why they bother giving out dates but the hold up is often one club with one match which has a domino effect.

Maybe we should tell them when we’re available and they have to work round that……

We are still seven weeks from the first of the games thankfully but this is ridiculous. It’s the most difficult programme to organise through Christmas but it should be better than four days late and counting.

The TV schedule has now been announced by the club online and all the changes are listed between now and our game with Leeds at the start of 2022.

United been moved to 8.15 Thursday night on Amazon. One of the few away games we'd have taken a decent following to this season.

Why won’t we with the new date/time?

Struggling to get a train back to Burnley, being on TV always puts people off, no longer a bank holiday.

Clearly wanted Burnley to see out the year with it being the last game.

If you're going for a day on the beer the United game isn't a bad change. Same with Leeds, the following day is still a bank holiday so most people won't be back at work till the Tuesday.

We'll see, I think the Leeds game will be more popular. Can't see us taking 3 thousand to United, unless our form improves dramatically.
