Where are Clarets drinking before the match? The Manchester derby is the 12:30 KO so a good game to find a decent pub for.

We drank opposite Earls Court station in the Courtfield last time but can’t remember if they showed the early match.

I'll be drinking in the hotel at Stamford bridge, Millennium & Copthorne. £78 for bed & breakfast for 2 of us.

Looks like we are having a couple in Leicester Square and then heading to Earl’s Court.

Half contemplating a late trip to London. Has it sold out? Can’t see any tickets when I log on?

I normally head to the White Horse in Parson's Green. It's a nice pub but it's not cheap and doesn't show football. There aren't a great number of options for football. There are a few more nice pubs like the Blackbird or the Bolton but if you want football I'd go for the Goose or the Courtfield near Earl's Court.

When you say it's not cheap. Do you mean by Burnley standards or by London standards?

London. It's not known as The Sloaney Pony for nothing.

Last time I attended this fixture, all the pubs in the proximity of the ground were designated home fans only. The recommended away pub was the Blackbirds on Earls Court road opposite earls Court station, which was fine, a typical London pub. It's a mile from the ground. The London Clarets recommended pub is the Duke Of Battersea, next to the Royal College of Art near Battersea Bridge but on the south bank of Father Thames. Again it's a circa 25/30 minute walk to the ground, so you will need a strong bladder if you are going to swill a bucket load of beer.

Please make sure you are at the turnstiles in good time with your covid pass and you will be required to wear a mask other than when in your seat or eating/drinking.

Blackbird is home fans only today - the two pubs next to it are letting away fans in
