A memorial service was held in Burnley Cemetary on Friday 8th of October attended by members of Jimmy's family and football clubs across Britain and Europe. A new headstone was unveiled to this football great who was one of our own. Film by Burnley Film Makers.

A delightful little film and tribute to Jimmy Hogan, even the sun shone for him!
Congratulations to all involved in making this day possible, replacing an unmarked grave with a lasting memorial to one who put Burnley on the world football map.

This was well covered by the Hungarian press as well and the Hungarian FA were represented. He is held in very high regard according to my Hungarian FA friend ---and rightly so.

I have just bought a recently published book about him : The Greatest Football Coach Ever by Ashley Hyne.
