Morning CT,

I’m hoping you may be able to point me in the right direction…

Sadly, I lost my mate this morning, he sat next to me in the CFS. I’d like to get his pic and a message of condolence up on the screen for the next game or even at the end of the season.

I was hoping you could point me in the right direction of who to speak to at the club.

Thanks for your time.

I think BFC is currently a communication desert.

Try Carl Sanderson. He is commercial department but would put you onto whoever deals with the screen content.

No idea sadly bobinho, all the people I dealt with both with the website and the Supporters Groups seem to have left. We don't even have an SLO right now, the person you are supposed to contact for all these issues but I'd try the slo at burnleyfc dot com email address, someone should be picking it up.

Thanks Tony and Jamesy for the nods in the right direction, and thanks everyone for your kind messages. I will of course pass them onto his wife and family.

Sorry to hear that Bobinho 😥 (as a lot on here know I mentioned about losing my brother last weekend ... he was 71 and been coming on and off to Burnley for 20 years).

When he retired he moved back to Long Preston 10 years ago and got a season ticket, and has been coming along with me to all home games and quite a few away as well at least 5 a season.

If you do get a slot can you let me know its something I may consider around his Birthday.

I am definitely letting the club know and have his name in the remembrance list (usually in January) for clarets lost in the previous year.

RIP & thoughts with you and your friends family

We organise that with the club. By now we would at the very least have agreed a game which I would hope would be the Leicester game on 15th January, but nothing as yet.

I remember booking my great old friend Davids name in the programme and on the screen in the "in memoriam list" a few years ago by contacting the club via email (from the programme)

Daz Bentley used to organise it for us. He would collect the names and would pass them on to me just ahead of the game. It's worked perfectly since we started it in Jan 2013. He would also make the arrangements for the names to go in the programme and on the big screen.

The owners have stated they are really impressed about how we are a community club rooted in the town and our supporters are the cornerstone of the club,I hope they realise our worth doesn't stop when we are not here spending. There are times when I think oh sod it if it's a wet cold unattractive evening game but think my dad would be dismayed if I missed a game because of the weather so invariably I go on.

Does nobody use the phone any more? I would ring and explain what’s needed. But then I’ve never really rung the club so no idea if that’s a goer or not

Really shocked and saddened to hear that Bosscat, always enjoyed a chat and a joke with him before the game.
