We've competed more with five across the middle

But Dyche can't wait to go back to the old system - that doesn't work
Give it a rest!

And we've had a few more looks at their goal.

You really think Wood alone upfront would give even the slightest chance without Cornet ?
I’d have kept it as it was

Hard luck Clarets. Well played.

Tarkowski supreme. Collins impressive.

Hard luck. Fine margins. Could have been 6-0 to City. Could have been 2-2

At least it’s better than a forfeited fixture result. Other teams ( hopefully teams at the bottom near us) will get battered there too.

It wasn't just containment as we had at least a couple of great chances to score.

In previous matches Man City might not have bothered with a defence, whereas this time we forced quite a few errors from them.

Not too bad a performance but like this season just not getting those details right.
A Wood goal to make it 2-1 with 10 to go would have been interesting. Decent 1st half chances, a couple of refereeing decisions could have gone our way and those type of decisions can change games.
Onwards & upwards with games coming up that are winnable.

P.S. Very worried Sean Dyche makes a change, we concede!

Edit: Collins on only his 2nd start was excellent. A great confidence booster for him, he'll grow in stature and become a captain for us.

Better than losing at Southampton or giving up a 2-0 lead at home to Coventry

A lot better than usual at City.

Still need a mobile striker though. Looked alright with Cornet on. Movement is fantastic for us.

Cornet's got to hit that first time and lob the keeper straight away and when he took it wide he just hit and hoped back across the keeper instead of curling into the bottom right corner.

It's looking at the keeper rather than the goal.

Watched it in Jaks on The Isle of Man………quite a few said how much better we looked, not just lumping it, and whilst yep they had a few chances we certainly weren’t over run and at times played some good stuff……

Nowt to be too disappointed today……..

Onwards and hopefully upwards….

Have a fab eve folks and ps watch The Foxes v Manure………..a cracker of a match!

We had a foothold in the game with five across the middle
Good tactical move Sean
Been suggesting this for some time. I think we have little option but to persevere. Playing just two CM's means we are over run

Playing like we did today gives the team more confidence at places such as Chelsea

Watching this from the home stands, clarets were in contention until 2-0.
Haha the bloke in the away end being held back by his mates from entering the home stands
