Further more to the post about Jimmy Mac's birthday, I was wondering if the club have decided on the return of the heroes pictures that were taken down earlier this year.

Perhaps we are no longer entitled to heroes...or more likely, they can't locate where they put them.

I suspect the delay is a knock on effect of the delay to the new electronic boards outside the ground.

Just drove past the turf again missing the heroes pictures. Are they ever really going to put them back up?

Joking apart, there doesn't seem to have been any movement by the club on putting these back up.

The plan was apparently to get them back up once all the digital signage is in place. Has all that been done now?

Makes you wonder who they have put in charge of all this!

They are not 'Burnley' that's for sure and the lack of specific signage is pitiful, after all this time.

The new signage is going up, as shown on the yellow end. Must confess, I prefer to see the Turf in Claret and Blue rather than having different colours for each stand.

Not sure where you have got that from. I'm the contact point and I've not been told that. The last communication from the club on this was back in May but no timescale was given other than it may be several months.

I can understand the colour coding of areas of the ground. But painting the all the doors seems excessive. Certainly takes away some identity of the club from the actual stadium. Same with the digital signage on the junction. It’s just a rolling billboard. I’m sure the Next Match information could be shared with with adverts on it as a split screen.

I couldn't agree more with all the doors etc. being painted like that. The three stands have been blue, yellow and red for years but I don't think there is any need at all to go with the colours like that. It does take away the identity.

I'd assumed the digital screen would have both adverts and next match on in some way but it is just an advertising board with no reference to Burnley FC at all.

We have heroes, they have horses. UTC NNN.

The board occasionally does have Burnley related content, just not very often. They have the next game every so often with ticket details, good feature to include marketing tickets IMO compared to the static predecessor, I'm sure it sometimes says the score after the game and they promoted the England under 21's.

I have no doubt you know more than I do, that's just what I was told a while ago. I'm not guaranteeing it'll happen, that's why I said "apparently". The person who told me could be full of s***.

I noticed the new LED hero boards in place last night, looking very smart.

Ground has much more of a Premier League feel to it now.

It is just a mess, like much to do with the new regime, which talked a good game but now gives the impression of just blundering around and lacking judgment
