Saw Rovers result yesterday had put them the in play offs and it got me thinking. If they were to achieve the impossible and get promoted would they be the first team to get promoted to the top flight after getting battered 7-0 at home the same season?

Honestly, I have no idea.
But I want it to happen because there would be a few a lot bigger than 7-0 next year

Correct.
Rovers gaining promotion could lead to huge investment from Venkys who are incredibly wealthy.

Not sure how much they can throw at it. Speaking to my Rovers son in law today and they had to a take Brockhall in lieu of Rovers debt to them in order to satisfy FFP. They may not be allowed to throw cash at PL survival.

By the way, was watching Bolton and Stockport today…..from the top of Rivington Pike. I couldn’t decide if the players were very small or very far away. It’s all a matter of perspective.
