Great to watch proper football with no outside (VAR) interference ---how do the officials manage without it?

Cross should never have come in ....don’t think Sam could do anything about that.

Nice to be able to watch the U23. Have to say Fulham look very sharp. Easy to see why they are top of league. Almost an equalizer as I type.

Where is Mancini ? Whenever I have seen him he has looked a tidy player. Is he injured or on loan somewhere ?

Idiot fowl by Thomas to give the penalty away but Fulham miss it!

Well saved by our keeper.

Backs his reflexes, if there was ever a telegraphed penalty that was it.

Fulham far more athletic then Burnley as a whole so Burnley have there work cut out to get anything more from the game.

Well Fulham knew they were in a game tonight.
Good test for our boys - a bit sloppy at times but a well taken goal and a good penalty save against a top outfit.
Dale back on the grass (then back on the wood!)

A great watch and well done boys.👏🏻

Lost 1-2 and to be honest had a the feeling that Fulham had more in the tank then Burnley.

Good effort from our lads against a strong side who, before tonight, have played 12 games and won 10 this season scoring 29 goals and conceding just 11. No complaints from me because they kept going to the end and you can't ask for more than that.

Thought we played really well tonight against the best team we’ve played this season.

Really enjoyable game to watch despite the result.

No disgrace in going down to a narrow defeat against the league leaders, and the high spots were Mellon bagging again, this lad certainly knows where the onion bag is doesn't he, and Sam's pen save, and for those wondering why Bobby Thomas isn't yet considered as 1st team ready that mistake is precisely why.

Great to finally see Dale Stephens back in the fold, but he'll probably need another outing or two before he'll be in contention for the 1st team squad.

Shame he took the free-kick, Tucker takes them and is pretty good.

Senior pro taking over I guess, I must admit free-kicks aren't generally something I associate with Stephens, even during his Brighton days I don't remember him ever taking one,

We have afew out at present, including our star striker, I think the lads are doing very well. This result is understandable.

It's development football. These are young players who will make mistakes. Some of the players we are coming up against are international footballers at this level and it is a tough league, but overall we are doing more than OK.

We've still got a number of players out through injury although I can recall that Rob Harker, who hasn't played since the Sunderland game eleven weeks ago, was walking better when he walked past us tonight. Lewis Richardson, Sam Unwin and Anthony Gomez Mancini also missing tonight.
