Long gone nightclubs

Driving home from Ribchester the other day, I passed a house that used to be the Lodestar nightclub, long closed. I got to musing about all the other nightclubs that I frequented in East Lancs that no longer exist and came up with quite a number.
Lodestar
Angels
Cats
Circulation
El Trop
Martholme Grange
Ace of Spades/Clubs? in Whalley.
Cavendish Blackburn
The Hop
There was also one in Nelson above the market and one in Colne (Zebra?) whose names escape me.
Any that I've missed or any memories. Over to you.

Sands in Nelson became Lacy's, then Blueberries. And then mysteriously caught fire, just like the club they opened in what was the Grand Cinema on Market Street.

Utopia on the car park in Blackburn
Use to pay £10 to get a coach there, entry & a drink. It also include the return journey back to Burnley, but didn’t always make that

Did it used to have a front wall that looked like the backend of a pirate ship or galleon or something?

Are you sure volvo? The Cabaret Club was in Rosegrove, whilst I think The Casino Club was where the Mechanics is on Manchester Rd., both owned by the same person I think, David Tattersall.

D'tably is now houses I think and has been for some time. Lode Star was always good, but just too far out as it was either a drive or a fair old taxi ride. I went to the Spring Mill at Langho few times mid 70s too as I knew the lad who's dad ran it. Upstairs at The Royal Waterfoot was miles better than a night out in Burnley!!!

Was originally the Willow Tree Club - a bit of a gentlemen's interest venue I think back in the day. Then Frank James bought it and it became Franks for years. Some great bands played upstairs.... Frank also owned the Tower Bar. All the wooden sliding panels on the outside of the building were stripped out of a church in Nelson.
After Franks it was Willows for a while. Then I moved away. Can't remember what it was called when it had the "interesting" bar staff (though I did go in a few times) but Mrs. S seems to think it was called Clarets for a while too (can't remember that at all).
