Well if they don't beat NI on Monday, and Switzerland win at home to Bulgaria, then they won't top the group, and could face the lottery of the play-off's.

You'd still expect them to make it to Qatar, but they're making heavy weather of qualifying, which after the way they performed in the Euro's is a surprise to me anyway.

Qatar at Christmas = Nightmare!

NI should have won really. They were fantastic and missed a couple of big chances. BPF didn’t have much to do but made saves when needed.

Well I don't like to say I told you so, but I did tell you so, that missed pen may yet come back to haunt them.

One-off ties in the play-offs also, so real jeopardy in prospect for the reigning European champs.

bad home draw after the Euros win versus Bulgaria and that last min pen last week has cost them. But fair play to Switzerland, no mugs in qualifying and generally always make it to the major tournaments
