Why are so many of them VACANT during a game?

Probably the cost?

Are they not directors' box seats?
I agree, not good they are empty.

How great would it be if regular fans were invited to take the seats as the Chairman’s guests. Looks bad that they are empty

Perhaps the weeks winner of The Tinned Food Count could take up a seat with a guest

Haven’t these seats now become for the players family’s and friends? You often see the players waving in that direction on match days.

The club spent money and moved season ticket holders in the bob lord and the longside to put in more premium seating and none of the seats are ever used. The club don’t need more premium hospitality seating, the seats at the back of the jimmy mac lower are never even close to full, even when the bigger teams come they are empty seats. It is a joke to move people around for seats that aren’t used.

Looks embarrassing game after game looking across at the directors box to find hardly anyone in there.

I think there may be a better take up next season, it depends on the “package” that the club offer.

Think there were a lot of guests in there but I know a couple of people who paid to go in but they’ve not been other than for one game this season.

All the empty seats in the JML are arguably more important given the awful image it puts on the club via the TV cameras.

Do burnley ever give free seats to lancashire schools, even if you get 10% coming back and paying it would be worth it.

Yes looks terrible on highlights etc. Which other Prem ground do you see a stand half empty?
Point is the owners are wanting to improve the clubs image and us having a stand half full all over the tv doesn’t look good / isn’t attractive.

Have to agree tbh.
It looks pretty desolate in that jml on TV for most matches now.. I've just been online to get tickets for next Sunday and it looks half empty even for Spurs.
A backdrop of empty seats all over the shop looks poor.

It does, but once those season ticket holders are back from holiday and have allayed their covid fears...

I sit just too the other side of the empty red corporate seats in the Bob Lord. On Saturday just 2 people sat their both Palace people .
I don't know why they remain unoccupied but I presume it is the corporate facilities within the BL which do not allow their usage.
Up to this season it has always been full of corporate, mostly Burnley people and some opposition.

Was told today by my neighbour in the Bob Lord Stand that our Chairman had a few guests today from Salt Lake City.
Which would explain the better occupancy.
Maybe he’s trying to tap up some new investors?

You obviously don't watch game's on TV when Man City are at home, it's week in week out for them
