Utd just took the lead at Villarreal, who else but Ronaldo of course. Bayern also ahead in Ukraine, and Lewandowski with his customary strike.

I notice the scorer for Crewe is Long - is that Chris Long who was with us a few years back?

I didn't see it, but a win in Spain isn't a bad start for Carrick is it, and a clean sheet to boot.

Yes that's the one, he joined them from Motherwell in the summer on a free.
