Everton have been garbage, but Rondon should have scored and arguably should have had a penalty a moment ago. I also find penalties like the one against Townsend harsh, personally. High foot is one thing, but when the players eyes are on the ball and the oppo player stoops down, it’s a total 50/50 and shouldn’t result in a penalty (IMO).

Brentford have been terrible and looked every inch a Championship side….but this takes them seven points clear us (eight really, with a far superior goal difference).

I do believe any club staying up needs to be finishing above them.

Yes that's a big 3 points for Brentford, and if you can dig out a victory when not playing well you give yourself every chance in this league.

I'd bite your hands off for Burnley to register a battling 1-0 win at Wolves or Newcastle that's for sure.

They've managed a few clean sheets yet looked as defensively naive as any team we've played in the Prem. As you say, a couple of back to back 1-0 wins will do nicely.
