A difficult trip to St James' Park (Don't forget your binoculars if you are going) calls for a difficult challenge for the Tinned Food Count.

As you can see, this is a smaller tin than usual but do not be lured into a false sense of security. Just as Allan Saint-Maximin will make it difficult for us on the pitch, these little beauties will make it difficult for our counters.

Having said all of that, your task is simple - determine how many slices of delicious water chestnut are con-tinned in this small, but beautifully crafted, tin?

The 50p piece is merely to give a sense of scale.

Drainage will commence at 13.00 tomorrow and the result will be revealed at 14.00.

As usual, it's 5 points for the correct number of slices and 3 points for the exact amount of water.

Can someone post a table of up-to-date scores? (Taa)
