Newc probably got their strongest 11 out there albeit quite attacking (don’t blame them, they really have to win). Tough game for us.

Agree it's about time we won at Newcastle, today's the perfect day to finally end that barren run.

So, if it's pretty much their best side against almost ours, then this game will show if we are really capable of staying up
It will test the attributes of the players and the tactical nous of SD
Bring it on!!

No Ben Mee. Times mentioned that Dale Stephens is out because of covid reasons. Has Mee got an injury from Wednesday night?

Shoulder injury.

Hurt it when he was in the air and clattered by Jimenez (who had no intention of playing the ball) if I remember correctly.

Was really struggling with what looked like a shoulder injury for the last few minutes at wolves.

Another prick referee. Definitely a push running through the centre not given and should have been a booking.

25m Brownhill 2 footed slide tackle goes to VAR. Looks ok to me, ref didn’t even give a foul.

Was it a head injury?

Why has the ref stopped it when we played a ball through to break?

We are trying to get forward but it always seems to end with the player on the ball turning and laying it back.
