haha CT. Did you tell your audience about how you deleted my post at the end of the MEE thread, because I don't see my comment there anymore highlighting the fact that you started a post about Burnley Women yet apparently' aren't interested in them?

Getting simple facts like this incorrect really shows a neglect and ambivalence to the women’s game that I personally find disgusting.

I was joking to be very clear….

I don’t think anyone has shown any disrespect to the women’s game. I have no interest in it at all, more power to those that do, but you cannot expect websites built to discuss Burnley FC (the men’s team) to automatically decide to follow the women’s game without someone devoting a lot of time and energy attending the matches etc.

No, someone else did, I was unaware of it until you started you childish rant and accused me of being a liar. The people who help me moderate the board, and your behaviour has shown we need more, are not under any instructions.

Can you please confirm John this was the post on the BURNLEY PART WITH BEE thread & not my after-thought Topic where I angrily posted at CT? Under your reasons, which I have not seen anywhere else, I can understand why the thread was pulled. But I am more concerned about my reply to BURNLEY PART WITH BEE that has been replaced with CT's reply. But mine is nowhere to be seen which explains all the threads that followed, including this one.

If you look on that thread, that's where John first posted his response. It was that post that he removed, the one you accused me of removing and then, when I said it wasn't, led to you calling me a liar and all the rest.

Perhaps this thread will offer a small window of insight into the voluntary task of board moderating. Tony gets so much grief, as do the rest of the mods. It’s just so uncalled for.

A few months ago, I constructed a post about the ‘identity’ of our football team and how we’d like to see Burnley perceived moving forward.

It took quite a while to type out, yet within fifteen minutes the thread was removed. It was annoying but understandable, as deleting individual posts would have led to a very confusing thread chain. I never questioned that decision as I know when posting that this Dan happen.

There’s one poster who repeatedly accused me of deleting and editing over his posts and would not take my word for it. Sadly, this is what happens far too frequently.

The birth of other forms of social media has made moderating what appears like a very simple forum, far, far more difficult than it ever used to be.
