Merry Christmas fellow Clarets!
Sad to see another game postponed, but hopefully it won’t affect Dyche & the lads to much!
Just a heads up if anyone is after watching a bit of live football over the festive period. Clitheroe play Colne on Monday at Shawbridge, which has got the hallmarks of an awesome derby game & is getting everyone excited!
Kick off is at 3PM with tickets on the gate priced at £8 & £4 for the little ones. A great chance to see the improved ground & have a few pints of Bowland Brewery ale pitchside. Clitheroe have had a great start to the season sitting in 4th & a win could take them 3rd.
The club is run largely by fellow clarets & have managed to average around 550 home attendances this season. They’re expecting a bumper crowd tomorrow, possibly close to 1000. It will be a great day & a great atmosphere between both sets of fans. If your free pop down & take in this tasty game!
All the best!

I'm planning on going. I'm sure the Red Army will be there in good numbers! I didn't know Sefton Gonzalez was at Clitheroe, him up against Ryan Taylor should be a good battle.

Ah! right cheers for the info, one of my favourite players in the 1st Mullen promotion season was Lancashire, great to hear he's still involved in the game. albeit at non league level these days.

We've just got two tickets. It's advisable to get tickets if you're intending going as they may have
to restrict numbers and a ticket will guarantee entry.

Yes, I’m sure the Red Army will be there in force, there will be some good chants between both sets of fans on the day no doubt!
Yes Sefton Gonzalez was signed from Ramsbottom, played decent this season scoring 9 goals in the league & a number of assists.

Good shout! Think this is to also help congestion getting in before the game as they’ll have a fast queue for ST & ticket holders. Definitely advisable to get in there early doors!

Men against boys at Clitheroe. Colne looked really lightweight.

Bamber Bridge 2 Lancaster City 1 Official attendance 727 but loads of cash payments going through the gate rather than the turnstile.

Clitheroe 5 - 1 Colne
Clitheroe had 6 players out with Covid, but managed to perform on the big day! We expected a crowd of around 1000, but managed 1678 in the end! Hopefully everyone enjoyed their day! Thanks to any one that attended from the Clarets!

Bamber Bridge putting in a serious challenge.
My local lot played an hour with 10, ended up losing, giving Matlock top spot.
