Certainly am a fan. Saw it live many years ago in London with the original cast and have watched it again on TV and you tube. The various anniversary performances are on you tube where some of the original cast feature including Alan Armstrong of New Tricks fame.
Never tire of watching it and wish I could see it live again.

Don't know why but I can't get past Frances Rufelles singing, but that aside thoroughly enjoyable. I could watch it over and over and over.

Studied it at school as part of A-level music and used to play a lot of the tunes on the piano.
I don't recall ever watching it though.
It's on Netflix, I've just put it on.

It was on Sky Arts. Probably will be on many times. The movie was ok but I am referring to the stage production. All that said. Enjoy! I would thoroughly recommend you watch the stage version if you haven't seen it.

The stage version is magnificent. Not a fan of the film, although the songs are still superb.

Its what we call our m8 Les up the pub ...

Saw it a few years ago in the West End. We sat front row in the middle. It was an incredible experience, love Les Mis.

Seen it twice in London.Seen the film at cinema.Got the dvd plus 25th anniversary concert dvd.Seeing it at the Lowry in April.First time i saw it Alan Armstrong was in it.Its growing on me

Saw the stage show in London four weeks ago. At the end of the show they announced the death of Stephen Sondheim which can of linked the mood. (The show is in the Sondheim Theatre)

Wonderful story and a great musical. One of my favourites.

The film was great; the broadway show was and is just truly outstanding. I’ve seen it three or four times, but fortunate enough to have seen Colm Wilkinson, the original and greatest, Jean Valjean, on two occasions! Here is an old piece of footage. The song was written for him specifically.

Big fan since of the stage show first time we saw it in the West End in that rather scruffy theatre. Film is not as good overall but there are some clever visuals that the stage could not match. Mrs C weeps on cue at Bring him home, and I love Master of the House, even when I realised it wasn't about Stan.

Been to see it in London, I loved the music, so my wife bought the trip as a xmas present a few years ago. I look forward to doing it again in a few years time, Covid permitting.

The quality of the singing lets the film version down badly, a shame really as the sets were very good.

Yeah we watched it too. Thought it was a really good take on it - not quite the show but better than the simple anniversary concerts.

Michael Ball was a really interesting emotional Javert.

The film is shocking though. I mean dreadful. Apart from the couple of gorgeous soliloquy moments it really doesn't work at all.

Have tickets for Manchester tour next year (should have been Leeds originally but the reschedule isn't coming here) - will be my 5th time I think

Took the wife to see it at the Palace in Manchester 20 years ago...absolutely incredible show would love to see it again

Seen it six times on stage. I agree the quality some of the singing in the film lets it down, especially ruined is Stars by Crowe!
I have sung " empty chairs at empty tables" at our local remembrance service in November.
I would thoroughly recommend the book if you can take on 1500 pages! There are some unexpected relationships and scenes between the characters, and Thernardier is not funny. It is also a goid historical novel showing that Les Mis is not the french revolution.

Not a big fan of the film version.
Brilliant show.
Most musicals tend to have 2 or 3 stand out numbers and some fillers - this is classic after classic in my humble opinion.

Each to their own, not particularly into musicals. Much more comfortable watching Mrs browns boys, paddy mcguinness and some Fumanchu in the middle of the desert.
