My dad suffers from Raynaud's when his hands are cold. Can anyone recommend a pair of gloves that will keep his hands warm while out walking in winter or sat on t'Turf? Our kid bought him a new pair of gloves for Christmas, but they are worse than his old pair. I've looked on Amazon, and it becomes a minefield when you start reading through the reviews.

Thinsulate gloves are excellent I have found BB

Have a Beany Hat and gloves my Step Daughter got me years ago and they are still keeping my hands and ears warm now m8

Try layers. You can get a pair of thin silk gloves to wear under some warm gloves like the thinsulate ones.

Personally wear SealSkinz gloves in the winter for dog walking or hiking, warm and waterproof. Wide range so check the description.

Also Trekmates which usually come in slightly cheaper.

Not sure if they'll help with your dad's condition. They are bulky compared to the cotton style gloves.

Neoprene fishing gloves might be worth a try.

These are my fingers after just a few seconds outside without gloves. Raynauds is a horrible condition, not helped by freezing cold water and cold air dryers in the Gents at TM.

I wear silk glove liners (about £15 a pair) plus some fur lined thick leather gloves from North Face (which were about £150 a pair) I’ve tried woollen gloves and the Thinsulate type, neither helped. Sadly, the tablets which also help are currently unavailable.

Wow that looks painful, I'd pack up and move to Tenerife!

I'm also a sufferer of Raynauds and have spent quite a bit on different items, with little success. I presently have a flat flask, which fits on the palm of each hand. You pour petrol into it, then heat the wick, before placing a lid on it. Like the othe suggestions, it works well, but only the palms of the hands benefit. Mittens are better than gloves, in as much as it's easier to get your fingers around items heating your hands.

Outdoor Research (OR) do some really good gloves

I also suffer this condition, I got a pair of heated gloves plenty out there on amazon and fleabay which are great when out and about, I also have a petrol hand warmer as mentioned above which provide hours of warmth but is usually in my pocket so useless until your hand is in there with it. I found taking a daily dose of grapeseed extract helped to lessen the condition slightly it seems to make the trigger temperature slightly lower.

I find a pair of Golf "Mittens" over standard gloves works well against cold.
I also agree with Thinsulate being a good option
I don't however have Raynauds which looks awful from the picture above
