Cornet’s partner Melissa.

It seems Cornet has broke up with the mother of his children. Do you think this affects anything on the pitch? Must have been very difficult but from her posts she hated Manchester.

Could be a reason why he suddenly doesn’t look as good as he did to begin with. Swapping Lyon for Manchester needs perhaps a little more thought,

Bizarre take when he’s been injured for a month and we haven’t played for 3 weeks before. He’s scored 5 in 8 shots on target.

If anything, it'll make him want to score and put one in the bag.

He was poor vs Wolves and Newcastle but before that was brilliant

I’m guessing you understand what you’ve done here….

Why not? People follow them on Facebook, twitter, instagram ect ect. If people wish to remain private the information shouldn’t be revealed, people only know what you choose to tell them nothing more & nothing less, if he or she are choosing to air their dirty laundry in public.

Played 32 minutes before coming off for Vyds, and as soon as he exited stage left the whole complexion of the match changed.
Shows just how vital he now is too our fortunes.
As for his personal life, it should be just that personal.
All I care about is how he performs on the park, and thus far he gets a high mark from me in that respect.

I lived in Manchester for 4 years and I hated it.
Lost of nicer cities and areas in the UK. Don’t get why so many people seem to love Manchester, it is an absolute hole and is getting worse and worse. Over the last decade or so the decline has been very steep. All the young people and yuppies seem to love the place though, maybe it is the easy access to drugs they like?

To be fair, Manchester is a dive. But most footballers don't live there, they seem to prefer the posher spots in Cheshire.

The traditional social media doesn't interest me either, and yes before anyone comments I'm well aware this forum classes as social media, but it's nowhere near as invasive as the likes of Facebook, Insta or Twitter.
And I completely understand your point that if folks choose to post their private lives to their followers, then it's inevitable that stories or rumours will break. Sadly this behaviour seems to be particularly prevalent in modern society in general, and celebrity culture especially.
I just hope if anything is going on it doesn't affect Max's performances on the park, I'm sure to most Clarets that's the important thing.

I don’t think it would have any baring on the pitch whatsoever but MC did score a brilliant goal against Palace since the drama with his seemingly ex Mrs’ Instagram. Also was the best player on the pitch against Newcastle and when he went off we went from looking like getting a convincing win to looking absolutely ****.

Max will be minted out to the max pardon the pun or at least he should be, he doesn’t appear to be an ogre as well
& he’s young it won’t be long before he’s got a queue of young attractive women wanting his attention I think your concerns are unduly unnecessary.

Yep and we've barely troubled the opposition keepers when he's been absent, hence our lack of goals and wins.
Same thing happened at Leicester when he went off injured, we went from playing some great stuff, to resorting to the usual long ball game, and allowed Leicester to get back into the match.

Lennon showed last night just what raw pace and directness can bring, so to have Max available would be a huge boost, even if he only managed say an hour, we might have the game sewn up by then, and be able to take him off hopefully.
I totally agree our season has to start on Sunday, and 3 points would make such a difference to the table.

I think we're both on the same page. Wood will be chomping at the bit to score against Leeds... AGAIN! - First game in front of their fans, playing for us? Happy to be corrected.
And Lennon used to play for them and has to start.
As you say - bring on Cornet with half an hour left, or play him in midfield.
