Before I commit to a count of Lychees I would appreciate some background on these fruits.
I've never had the pleasure of meeting a Lychee, the smell or taste. What can i compare a Lychee to.
Maybe it's time I bought a tin of Lychees......but not in Syrup, juice is the way to go. Not being controversial here but, doesn't syrup stick to the side of the measuring jug and doesnt fall, unlike juice that quickly drops to the bottom making the calculation much easier.

They come in a tin with a light syrup ...
Thats what it says on the tin ...
I have had Lychees at a Chinese Restaurant as a sweet before and they are tasty ...
Syrup has many meanings ... a light syrup suggests its a thinnish juice type liquid not a thick syrupy one...
The choice is yours Ac but I cannot tell you any more

Mmm. On that vague description then Bosscat i will estimate there will be 47 Lychees swimming in 155ml of caribbean syrup.....I'm confident this will bring home 3 points from your home county of Yorkshire.

That's rubbish Bosscat, I only wanted to know what a Lychee is....i thought as the tinned counter ( an experienced one at that) you may have guided me in my estimate for the 3 points. Im originally from Bacup not tropical Yorkshire, where Lychees are grown by the roadside handpicked and harvested by locals around the Long Preston area then canned in light syrup.....anyway I stand by my exact estimate of 47 Lychees and 155ml of light syrup to bring home the 3 points. UTC.
