Dyche

Time to go - If we want to try and stay in the PL. Our record this season and at the end of last is indefensible. The football is sh*te too.

I think he’d be the best candidate to get us back up at the first attempt but I think he’s too stubborn to stay and have yet another crack at the Championship so I think it’s best we part ways too.

Nixon said in the Sun today Leicester are looking at a Prem manager who would be a big change of style and would have a large compensation payout.

He could end up there before we sack him.

Pains me to say if but he needs to go before he tarnishes his legacy here. Get a new man with fresh ideas in. I can't watch this anymore.

Leicester would want Dyche, seriously ? He seems more and more of a throwback. An anomaly in the PL.

I agree his time at burnley is over 8 wins in 500 would see any manager in any league sacked

Not a cat in hells chance of getting out of the Championship if we go down. This is a squad that has well and truly run its course.

So negative. He coaches every ounce of interest out of our players.

Give it a few more games and he'll have beaten the flair and goal scoring out of Cornet too.

The list of his negatives is a mile long.

He's gotta go.

If we go down under Dyche , I think that is the time to say goodbye.
Dyche was the biggest winner in the American deal and some would say good luck to him.

Bottom of the entire 92 clubs in the points per game table yet seems bullet proof. Today was crying out for somebody to put their foot on the ball and take the sting out if the game. Taylor was the only person who can come off the pitch with his head held high tonight, and to an extent Cornet.

Do you think another manager could get more out of this team. Not a chance. But for Norwich there is not a weaker squad in the PL. Massive win for Leeds today, who were very under strength

If Dyche stays then the bulk of his journeymen stay. Who could possibly look forward to that in the Championship. Can you imagine SD presiding over a revolution ? We need something akin to when Eddie Howe cleared out all Laws’ creaky knees.

No for me. No one stands out as a better candidate to get us out of trouble. Sometimes making a change can make it worse. We're not adrift yet.

The problem is, I no longer think he's the man to take us out of the championship. His tactics and system have been left behind, most teams work and press hard now.

Too many transfer windows without decent signings is starting to hurt. I’d like Dyche to stay and reinforcements added pronto.

You have to ask yourself in any other business if you personally didn't think you were up to the job you would walk away common Sean do the right thing!!!

He was a breath of fresh air when he first came in. We worked harder, were fitter and fought more than other teams. That doesn’t happen anymore.

Forget the players that will probably go (Pope, Taylor, Tarkowski, Cornet and McNeil). I can’t see any of the others being up for a 46 game slog. Not at the ages they all are now.

It's manager + squad.
"Fresh ideas" only go so far with a squad of such limited options

Dyche has hand selected each person and offered contracts to players that were years past there sell by date.

He’s a good coach but that’s about it.

I'm afraid great as Sean has been, now is the time for him to go with his head held high, today was a watershed moment for me, as I genuinely thought we could get a result at Leeds, especially given the players they had out, yet we once again surrendered meekly, after Cornet hauled us back into the game with a stunner.

Where's the fight and desire gone, it's one thing losing games in this league, it's quite another to be rolling over against our fellow relegation rivals.

And today was an exact repeat of Newcastle, where we allowed a poor team a gift, and then couldn't get back into the match.

This thread is embarrassing, I’ve never read so much sh*te in my life….do you honestly think Dyche would play this way with a better set of players when he’s never been given the chance to…Do you think this squad can actually play/have the ability to play like Brighton etc do? Your living in cloud cuckoo land…this squad has run its course, not Dyche’s fault the board won’t invest and strengthen, the difference this season is players have run contracts down and are off, this will affect the mentality of the squad. Today was shocking and a poor choice of tactics from Dyche but to blame him for 2021 results you need to look at the bigger picture. No other manager would achieve what Dyche has with this squad, it’s bang average at best. Maybe going down and having a clear out wouldn’t be a bad thing, I don’t want to go down but it’s either that or the chairman invests to move forward from this garbage.

Maybe the players are sick of hearing the same voice
Maybe the players are sick of the rubbish tactics
Maybe the players aren't good enough

What we see now is 100% down to Garlick and the lack of investment to alter the 3 things I've just mentioned. I don't care if Dyche stays or goes to be honest, there is no quick fix for the poor squad we have.

We have I suspect the oldest, cheapest and smallest squad in the Premier league. We have been dire no doubt, but the hand Dyche had been dealt stinks.

It could. We could end up stuck with someone significantly worse and then they’d be in charge of the much needed squad overhaul. It’s not the time to change. Nobody decent would want the job at the moment.

The summer would be a better time to change.

Really, I don’t know what you are seeing but you must be very easily pleased. I’m convinced if Dyche asked for human sacrifices this board would be inundated with people offering up their family members.

So the questions are -
Who replaces him?
No dodging that one either.

Can they do better with this squad that was lacking investment for a number of windows prior to the takeover?
they've only really had one window to work in properly and did well with those 3 signings.

Plenty of good options out there, I think it’s naive to think there isn’t tbh

Worst thing is, the businessman that put us in this mess is still involved with the club and smirking to himself while the guy he fell out with takes all the blame.

DYCHE AND GARLICK BOTH TO GO ASAP.

We need a clean sweep of deritus.

Don't dodge it, let's see names so we can discuss them.

I've said this before, plenty want managers sacked but aren't willing to name who they want in

But there is also an excellent one to change as well

I don't know tbh

I think the league has moved on from his style of play, Hughton got potted at Brighton playing a similar style and look at them now playing more expansive under Potter.

If we do somehow stay up he will deserve the credit he gets but if we go down I would like to see a new manager with a new playing emphasis and if that means a few years in the Championship so be it.

This season Burnley are by far the worst team I have seen play football in the premier League, no composure no pressure, at times no passion we play like walking football, without the football totally embarrassing and soul destroying to watch

Strange, not a mention of garlick who in my opinion fed us to the sharks 3 seasons ago.
You can not stay still in the prem and i have no doubt dyche knew this but got no help whatsoever, never mind though let's blame him whilst the real culprits creep away with pockets bulging !!
