Lowton 6

Tarkowski 3 what an incredible football player, we're so lucky to have him. Barcelona bound future England captain

Mee 3 out of position, caught sleeping on the ball, hoof into the channel and walking for the 3rd goal.

Taylor 8

JBG 3 I look forward to others marking him a 6+ today for his standard performance. This is a standard JBG performance, offered us nothing for 3 years but lets pretend he's brilliant.

Westwood 3 no idea what's going on with him, cant pass a football, allover the place positionally.

Cork 3 legs went along time ago, he's losing battles when it's 70/30 in his favour, like for the third goal.

Mcneil 4 not playing well, feel sorry him, surrounded by such crap, confidence completely gone out of him.

Wood 3 Remember when I said Wood offers nothing if he's not scoring, I was pelted on here from several posters, do we now see what I meant?

Lennon 3 you know you're shite and your recruitment has been awful when you're playing 37 year old Aaron Lennon at striker. An admittance from Dyche was that selection.

Can't be bothered doing ratings but only Cornet and Taylor earned their salaries today.

That was abysmal, and incredibly even worse than the Newcastle loss, at least Newcastle fielded a first choice XI, whereas Leeds were missing probably their 2 most influential players in Bamford & Phillips, yet still beat us with ease. If that doesn't show Alan Pace we desperately need new blood, then nothing will.

Error strewn and plain awful to watch. Garlick dealt the club a bad hand IMO to line his own pockets but the manager’s record in 2021 and then this abjectness is indefensible. Are the club just going to accept this ? It’s tired and stale and easy to lose interest in. We are not going to be any bodies ‘favourite’ team playing this tripe. I expect most fans will be glad we are likely to go down. In previous seasons we brought something to the table but not this.

Errors cost us again. Tarks abysmal for their first. 1 player covering 2 Leeds players for a short corner for their second then too slow to pick up Dallas on the edge of the box, as we were with McTominay twice at OT. Midfield absolutely woeful, can't keep possession, don't create anything and every forward pass is to a player who is marked and facing his own goal. I can't see a way out of this malaise unless there are significant changes this month. And we are all waiting for the 'difficult market' and 'happy with the group we have' releases in 31 January.

Hennessy - 5 - no chance with any of the goals

Lowton - 5 - started well but got dragged down to the general level of panic
Tarkowski - 3 - possibly his worst ever performance for us
Mee - 4 - not much better than his mate
Taylor - 7* - one bright spark in a horror show

JBG - 3 - non existent
Westwood - 3 - I’d give him less if I could - dire
Cork - 3 - see Westwood
McNeil - 3 - completed a shocking midfield quartet

Lennon - 5 - at least showed for the ball and wasn’t as profligate as those around him
Wood - 5 - should have scored but let’s be fair he’s feeding off less than scraps

Cornet - 6 - dragged us back in the game then inexplicably taken out of the game through a combination of horrific substitutions and even worse tactics

Can’t get my head around the last two substitutions at all. We needed someone in the middle of the park to put a foot on the ball as Stephens did at OT. Instead we lose all shape and any sense of having any kind of game plan

Let’s be right here - we’ve been battered by a side that was there for the taking - fact. Relegation nailed on judging by that effort today

Hennesey 6 - a bit up and down today
Lowton 6 - Di pretty well considering g
Tarkowski 4 - dreadful. Looked yarfd off it all game and cost us 2 goals
Mee 5 - not much better
Taylor 7 - played well again
Mcneil 5 - did more in the first 10mins in the 2nd half than the rest of the game (albeit being hamstrung on the right isn't his fault)
Cork 5 - struggling by the last 70
Westwood 5 - sloppy today
Gudmunsson 4 - abonymous
Wood 5 - not really at the races today
Lennon 5 - tried hard but probably wrong to start him so soon after Utd

Cornet 6 - made a difference but then disappeared once he moved wide
Rodriguez 4 - I'm not sure he even touched it

Dyche got today all wrong. Bizarre decision to start McNeil on the right given we have plenty of evidence already this season that he is a clear 4/10 player on that side. Then moving Cornet wide meant we were all unbalanced again - we desperately needed to pit some strenght in the middle although arguably I can see why Sean held back with the game in balance. His reticence cost us sadly

Hennessey 4 Partially at fault with goals 1 and 3
Lowton 4 Ditto
Tarkowski 3 Never seen him play as bad as this
Mee 4 All at sea by his standards
Taylor 7 Mom, At least he put a shift in
McNeil 4 Youngster I know but showed little for a relegation dog fight
Westwood 4 Usual nothingness of creativity
Cork 3 Ditto
JBG 3 Finished at this level
Lennon 5 Barely enough
Wood 4 So out of form he’s started snatching at chances.

Cornet 7 inc 1 for terrific free kick.

I did stop doing these, but going to join in today

Hennessey 5, not sure he could have done much more today, not at fault for any of the goals.
Lowton 5
Tarkowski 3 inept performance and should be dropped
Mee 4 he knows he is leaving and it shows.
Taylor 7 one of only two players who deserve any praise today
McNeil 3 anonymous and his crossing was atrocious.
Westwood 4 difficult when your sidekick is on the beach
Cork 3 on the beach, looking for a new club.
JBG 4
Lennon 4 old chap picking up his last pay cheques
Wood 3 missed two good chances, been poor all season

Cornet 8 for the free kick alone, if he has a great ACON he will be sold in the summer.

Championship here we come.

Hennessey 5 - thought he decision making was poor at times, both in terms of sweeping and coming for crosses. Distribution also could have been more varied.
Lowton 5 - didn't do a lot wrong clean header on the bottle.
Tarkowski 4 - poor for their opener and their second where his body position was all wrong in giving the corner away.
Mee 5 - lucky to get away with the poor play in the first half and not as dominant as usual.
Taylor 8*- two excellent crosses which perhaps should have resulted in goals. Dealt with Raphinha really well.
McNeil 5 - not in the game, gave it away sloppily in the second but worked hard to get it back.
Cork 4 - offered very little today, lacks the dynamism for this level now unfortunately, in the role we ask him to play anyway. .
Westwood 4 - another guilty of sloppy give aways and generally didn't assert himself on the game.
JBG 4 - offered nothing.
Lennon 5 - threatened to get into the game whilst playing close to Wood but not really in it. His movement on the right wing is terrible, he just does not show for the ball and is so negative it is untrue.
Wood 6 - won a lot in the air today, unlucky not to score. Shouldn't have been taken off and should have been paired with Vydra for the last 10/15.

Cornet 7 - fantastic strike for the goal, but after a bright start failed to read Woods flick ons and I think Vydras runs in behind/pressing would have been more effective late on.

The last 20 minutes of the first half and half an hour of the second were as bad as I can remember. We were fsr too direct and predictable after our goal, after we had worked incredibly hard to get back into it.
I am not calling for Dyche to go but he has to have a rethink here as things need to change.

From tv and after waiting an hour or so to calm down.

Hennessy 6
Lowton 4
Tarks 4 his heart and mind aren’t in the club
Mee 4 average defender now with zero distribution
Taylor 7 played well
JBG 4 used to rate him, not now
Cork 3 abysmal
Westwood 3 abysmaler not bothered if I never see him in a Burnley shirt again
McNeil 4 needs a new club to progress
Wood 4 doesn’t look interested
Lennon 4 a good mate of the manager, reminds me of a clockwork mouse on the pitch.

Cornet 7 he has PL skills, was interesting to see him moved to the wing after he scored.
Jayrod and Vydra poor.

Tarkowski 3 - Beyond awful. Sloppy. A tight offside saved him giving Leeds a penalty and Tarky getting a second yellow. Him getting sent off might have improved us though. Collins had done enough to earn a start before JT threw this one in. Needs changing.
Mee 4 - His distribution was embarrassing for a Premier League footballer.
Taylor 7 - Stuck to his task and contributed more than any other Burnley player in both attack and defence.
McNeil 3 - Sloppy again. Poor decisions stifle our attacks. Lacks composure when he does get in positions to deliver I to the box. Loses possession and then frequently stands there sulking rather than getting back in shape. Not good enough by a long long way at the moment.
Westwood 3 - He's beginning to make the no look pass his own.
Cork 3 - We look better in the phases within games when it doesn't look like he's playing.
JBG 4 - Offered little.
Wood 4 - Two good chances not taken is becoming a bad habit. Linked play well on occasions but also looked very slow and didn't put himself about at all.
Lennon 4 - Was a big ask after he worked so tirelessly at Man United. Wasn't up to it unfortunately.

Cornet 6 - Lacked impetus when moved wide.
