They will no doubt go for the ‘get more games’ line in the championship

£500, for championship football, with a side that’s struggling to beat an egg at the moment.

Likely lose half the season ticket holders.

Plus the £20-£30 per game you spend on beer and food!

Seriously, I was wondering when the ‘early birds’ was going to be announced.

Usually the last DD was end of March so it was around March from memory when they were announced with an early bird period in line to start DD in April

Premier league prices, for a championship club, playing league 1 football.

But I'll probably renew for the championship, wouldn't be bothering to watch ANOTHER if we somehow miraculously survive

When the dust settles I for one will re-set and look forward to matches we have a chance of winning, Tuesday and Saturdays mainly sorted, not as many in the beer queue on the concourse, and the EFL use a ball which might not go as high in the sky fir us as this current Prem League one appears to………

Oh and fatter linesmen and no VAR so Woody might not be offside as often.

For starters……

Next season will be very different in terms of team and most likely league.

I look forward to it and just want this one done with. I’ll certainly renew.

I’ll be getting one for me and the daughter, haven’t had one this year and whilst I’ve not missed much, I miss the day out and I know she will enjoy it like I did as a child

Usually go on sale in Jan/Feb with a end of March deadline.

I’ll be renewing, but it’ll be interesting to see if the prices go up. It’s been a tough 12 months.

I'll be amazed if they don't go up with this ownership but trying to sell them up to end of March might be difficult.

This season, for those who hadn't had them in 2019/20, they also included even higher prices in the front rows of the Longside Upper (Rows A to K) I think. If I recall correctly, someone on Row K would have had to pay £60 more than someone on Row L for a season ticket. That would affect me now in my current seat.

The new ownership are going to have to be very careful. They don't speak to supporter organisations, which has been the case previously for years, and they must look at the very poor attendances at games this season which have followed the much lower take up of season tickets.

Hi all

Reckon to have done a search but can’t find what I’m looking for. Just checked the BFC site but can’t find owt there either…

I’m under the impression (sure I read it somewhere) that as of next season monthly DD can’t be used to buy season tickets… have I got that right? I hope it’s wrong, but you never know.

Cheers all.

I’ve heard nothing about there not being a direct debit. I thought we were going back to the system we had up to 2019/20.

I suspect there will be a 'pay monthly' option available, but this may attract an administration fee/interest, not the the interest free instalments we have enjoyed in recent years.

I’ve already decided to not renew, but not for footballing reasons - for me it’s the way the new owners have promised so much and delivered so little. Shiny adverts around the ground is not improving the facilities like the toilets and food outlets. Also the increase in knobheads in the CFS each game without being punished by the club is another reason. I’ve heard rumours that my seats won’t be available next season anyway, and if that is also true I don’t see why I should bother.

Were the non early bird prices from this season an indication of where the new owners see the price of season tickets? The price in the JHU was £445(?) early bird and was pushed up to over £600 as standard wasn't it?

Why not change seats or stand. There are no ‘knobheads’ where I sit just a few moaners. I’ll be signing up even if in the Championship ( even with Dyche in charge). Just think we need to make a better fist of staying up which needs fresh ideas now.

my seats are fantastic because I'm at the front of a block hence good legroom and no one in front of me and I dont have an obstructed view (from a stantion) like my old seat in the CFS. I dont want to sit in either of the lower sections of the ground as I would likely get wet when it rains. I've sat in JMU and the view is nice, but I cant justify the additional cost for my (adult U22) kids tickets when they are significantly cheaper in the CFS. I've been told "off the record" by a steward that the blocks where I sit are not going to be sold next season to increase the gap between home and away fans, so my choice is to move elsewhere in the CFS and lose my premium view again, so I cant be arsed by it when considering the other issues I mentioned.

Renew or Review? That is the question. I suspect some ‘premier’ league season ticket holders may not review if relegation is looking imminent late February. However, I don’t think the majority of fans would be deterred from renewing because of the division we will be in next year.
One important factor affecting renewals is the style of football on offer. It’s just not exciting. I don’t care what division we are in, I just want to be entertained more. Some supporters may decide not to renew next season, potentially giving up a good seat and just cherry pick the matches they want to attend knowing full well that they will always be able to get a ticket. Albeit in an inferior seat to the one they have given up.
