However Mr. Pace really does need to get the cheque book out and do an urgent bit of business. Time to see what our American owners are made of methinks.

I would never advocate his sacking after what he has given us, but I said it when he signed his new deal.
"People are delightfully singing about 4 more years, I'm dreading the next 4 weeks"
The players genuinely look clueless, the manager looks blind to the glaringly obvious, snd yet sugar coats it at every single opportunity.

Afraid we’ve seen it all before. I’ll always support the clarets, but can’t support several of these money suckers, earning almost the ANNUAL salary of supporters in a week. Happy clapping in the extreme.

Not on behalf of me either. The best manager we've had for decades. We're now, inevitably, suffering from the lack of investment over the last few years so Rigg could squeeze every last drop of blood out of the club

If there is no money or doubt in spending because of relegation, then we need two loan signings yesterday. You would have thought a short listed existed well before the window opened. The need for a goal scorer and serious CM player has never been greater

Cleary you are wrong as several people do agree with me already on this thread baring the usual happy clappers who cant see the wood for the trees a bit like yourself. I get the passion and always wanting the best for the club but the phrase cant see the wood for the tress springs to mind. The penny will drop at some point with the noisy minority.

Pace won’t sack Dyche and Dyche 100% won’t walk away. The time for a change went when he signed a new 4 year deal so need to hope mr pace thinks as much as Sean as he says he does and backs him with signings

You wrote: "on behalf of the majority of Burnley fans" - I don't think you can write on behalf of the majority, you can write on your own behalf, and I respect your views, but not those of anyone else. So, clearly I'm not wrong, and as for 'Happy Clappers'- grow up.

I don’t see Dyche’s desire or will to win diminished.
I’m not sure the same can be said about a few of our players (albeit in this competition I don’t see much year on year difference).
He’s closer to it than anyone - he needs to work out who is not 100% focused due to staleness or their next career move and put someone younger and hungrier in if necessary. If he does that, Dyche remains our best option. If he stays “over loyal” we could sink - for good.

We always get a few drama queens who think that shouting & tantrum throwing on a supporters page makes a difference, get rid of them all sums it up really, yet they disappear when we win a couple of games. things are tough & i really believe if we all stick together & back them vocally on the Turf things will turn. I’m not happy but we are still in with a shout & hopefully we can win a few games wether scrappy, lucky or battering the opposition. Give it a rest as you don’t represent anyone except you’re own opinion & they are like an arsxhole, we all have one. If we go down we go down & we still support them, BFC is not just for xmas.

I am in the middle, he shouldn’t go now but if we go down I would have a change with a manager who plays with a more expansive style and if that means a few years in the championship so be it

Some of us have been here for over 50 years. So sad that these performances can’t be seen for what they are.
Adamson went shortly after building the best BFC team I’ve ever seen - Dyche has performed up to a level, but that has been exceed now.......and, he has coached any talent out of our ‘players’.

It looks to me to be less about Dyche and more about the players psychologically - that and age. Are players who are coming to the end of their contracts as bothered as they were 2-3 seasons ago? They don't look it.

Tough decisions need to be made. No room for sentiment in successful businesses. As Dyche once said ‘ it’s not a forever story’. Things do run a course. Let’s try and make something happen to keep this club up. We might not come back for a long time otherwise. The owners and Dyche will be long gone by then but the fans wont.

Not easy keeping the faith at the moment watching this lot. Maybe it's time to think of the here and now and not the great 8 or 9 years we've just had.
Most of these players are done, either Dyche moves them on or give someone else a chance to get something out of them. I prefer the 1st option.

Agree with this - a lot of blame on Garlick, who I think deserves some flack, but make no mistake this is Dyche’s team, he wanted to keep the likes of Lennon (not singling him out here in particular) and sign the likes of Brownhill.

That’s all well and good, and ordinarily I would agree. My real concern, and why I think this time is different to any other difficult spell under Dyche, is the very apparent lack of belief from the players.
The whole ‘legs, hearts, minds’ mantra has gone. Completely.
I will always support Dyche for as long as he is here, but I just wonder if this is the beginning of the end.
