Newcastle v Watford next Saturday.
Difficult to see both managers still being in the job by the end of next weekend.

Similar to us I think - low on confidence and out of the cup to a lower league side.

On balance, good result. Sucks the excitement out of the Trippier signing nice and early.

I've not looked at Newcastle's side. If they started close to their strongest side, then agreed.

Arguably worse than us, like you say a full strength side out, and playing a L1 team.
We'll have to see how both sides react to those setbacks.

Clearly all isn't OK, however are there not enough moaning, depressing threads already
. Additionally it just shows, it's not just us. Confidence, or lack of, is massive in football

Wonder if the new owners have the patience to stick with Howe or end up like Watford?

Shows how crazy things are that if Everton bin Rafa, Newcastle sack Howe then re-appoint Benitez they'll all think it's the greatest thing ever!

Boreham Wood and Kidderminster are 2 teams having wonderful seasons thus far scoring goals and winning games of football. Both winning this afternoon against League opposition albeit on their home grounds. As you say full of confidence.
Contrast that to Burnley and Newcastle who have managed just 2 PL League wins between them all season.
I wonder if Norwich will get turned over at The Valley tomorrow providing yet another Cup "upset" for the media.
