Today's footie 16/1/22

Not much action today, but a few games to follow.

Stoke 2-0 up at Hull, and closing in on the play off places again.

Liverpool-Brentford

West Ham-Leeds

Both KO soon, 2 home wins methinks from a Clarets perspective.

And of course Max and the Ivory Coast have their 2nd group game today against Sierra Leone.

Yes, hopefully a battering for Brentford and a hammering for DL off the Hammers.

Pity the North London Derby's off, was looking forward to that.

Goal Leeds. They've started very well. All over West Ham in the first ten mins.

We are by far the worst team in the league. We could only dream of attacking teams like this.

The table doesn't lie.

I'm watching the Liverpool - Brentford game and Brentford, even though we beat them, are playing some very good football.

It's such a shame we've gotten so stale and dull to watch.

We did in the past, but as other teams find out over time it's difficult to keep it going season after season.

It’s all about winning and we seem to have forgotten how to win. That then leads to loss of confidence and ultimately unrest within the group. Certainly Wood and Tarks no longer wanted to be at the club.

Leeds had 9 players on that attack just then, proper Bielsa ball.

Just look at the way Leeds can play without 4/5 of their first team starters missing. Such commitment, energy, and dynamism.

It does make you realise we’re on our way out this time. We just can’t match even the below average sides with key players out.

Leeds just have a pop at everyone don’t they?

No whinging. No complaining about how few players they have. (15 year old on bench) they just put the players in the team and let them play.

Fair play to em I say…. Even tho I hate them with every fibre of my being.

They've coped so well with significant injury problems this season. I think it was said that seven of their nine subs today are teenagers.
