Big game in the AFCON this afternoon with Ivory Coast against Egypt at 4.
Is it too much to ask for an Egypt win and Maxwel back home with plenty of rest ahead of the Watford game?

Know what you mean ... I would have loved Max to get a bit more game time but ... he will be valuable v Watford if they go out this afternoon ... Egypt will be a tough nut to crack.
Fingers crossed this Mislav Orsic deal can go through and bolster midfield further ... slong with another Striker

I mean maybe you're right, Maxwel was captain of his country in the first game and didn't play the following two. I guess it's a bad thing to support our players outside of playing for us, just seems a strange concept to will our players to fail unless they're playing for us.

As a compromise, how about wishing Côte d’Ivoire to win, but only if Maxwel scores or assists the winning goal?

Cornet will be rightly furious if he knows BFC fans are willing Ivory Coast to be knocked out today. So much so that it will take one of his team mates to calm him down. In fact it might even take Two To Calm Him

The size of the crowds are disappointing for an international tournament.
The pitches on the Prarie in Burnley are in better condition.
The football is ok , the temperature will affect the players.
Just hope Max gets a few minutes in the second half.
