I don’t know how you post pictures on here, but I’ve emailed the club this morning, only to get an auto reply. At the bottom of the reply is our upcoming fixtures. It lists our home game v Watford as Saturday 6th feb.

I know it’s a minor typo, but surely we’re better than that? Is nobody checking people’s work?

We aren’t better than that. Recently we sent out mail shots with wrong kick off times. Some of the communication is dreadful.

I emailed one name at the club last Friday - no reply so emailed someone I assumed was his boss and no reply either.
Only wanted a piece of information, would have taken one sentence to give me the answer.
Nothing.

I think the club should create a role for someone who has the sole responsibility of liaising with the supporters.

They could name it “supporters liaison officer” or something like that.

You’re welcome Burnley.

Before I clicked on this thread I thought the title might have been referring to our recruitment policy? Two days to go folks.

Non league teams like Wrexham appear to be more professional than us on the communication/commercial front. Don’t worry though guys we now have LED technology inside and outside of the Turf.

Also wish they'd do more with the official site & make it a bit easier to use.

And speaking of tickets, there is a thread on here saying the club are offering match bundles on the ticketing side of the website but don’t appear to be advertising/promoting this offer? Perhaps someone will get around to it by Friday of next week? When Pace and co came here I thought they were going to carry out a root and branch review of our off field activities? No evidence of this as yet.

I emailed our stadium manager 3 times last season, not one reply.

This is shocking from BFC. I have an Accy Stanley supporting friend and she has emailed the club on a few occasions. Andy Holt sometimes replies personally. I know Accy are a smaller club but when the owner who is probably a busy man with his business responds personally to a supporter, you know that the club value your support.

I have to say Daz Bentley always responded promptly to my e mails.Even if they can't give you an immediate answer to your query it is common courtesy to acknowledge receipt of your communication.

Twice recently I have had cause to email the club, something I rarely do. One was to clarify the situation regarding the Covid regulations if I let a different family member use one of our season tickets, the other was to try and get a Clarets number for my teenage grandson to simplify buying a ticket for him. On both occasions I got a reply, however neither bore much relevance to the questions asked, they were clearly copied and pasted answers from a different question. Frustrating.

These are the sort of threads that need to be brought to Mr Pace's attention

Great service but this is one of the issues, as it seems to be just pot luck as to whether or not people receive a reply. Which is not good for a PL club.

That is good, however, the mistake in the auto response is unforgivable and should have been spotted before now. I haven’t received a reply to my enquiry and I also haven’t received a reply to my message pointing out their error.
