What a fixture and a real dose of proper football in an increasingly mundane and sanitised sport.
C'mon Rangers!

Another one for the Gers here. Still bitter about the their fans in 1978.

I’ve managed to go to one old firm game in the past and say what you want about Scottish football, it p!sses over anything in England.

Thanks, but no thanks.
Standing or sitting amongst 50k rabid bigots and soaking up their sectarian bile somehow fails to attract me.

I know the standard in Scotland isn’t the best but both these teams would hammer Burnley.

Fantastic first half.
Don’t normally watch the old Firm games even though I live up here but went to Walking Footie today and have got mates on both side of the divide and the banter was strong so I thought I would watch the first ten minutes or so.
Been an excellent match and particularly enjoyed watching Jo Hart clear out Scotty Arfield

You fear for Van Bronckhorst if Rangers lose the league from the position he was in when he took over.
I don’t even think Aaron Ramsey would’ve made any difference today, Celtic have been by far the better side.

Ah I've got it now. The behaviour or lack of behaviour of the fans at Turf Moor. Yes you have a good point.

I wasn’t even alive when the game your onabout was played I couldn’t give a sh1t about what Celtic fans did in Burnley.
Horrible football club with horrible fans for lots of different reasons.

New Genetic research shows we are all as Celtic as the Welsh in Lancashire (we were not conquered until the 7th century AD) so…. Go Celts!

Rangers are in the last 16 of the Europa League playing Borussia Dortmund. We couldn’t even get to the group stages.
We got knocked out of the FA Cup against Huddersfield reserves.
They have lost one league game in about 60 games, we have the worst form out of 92 English league clubs in the last year.
They would muller us on confidence alone.

as regards the standard, unless there was some agreement in place saying he couldn't, Gerrard hasn't signed anyone from Scotland or Rangers

Sorry but you are really letting your enthusiasm for Scottish football get the better of you and making you talk nonsense. Never mind the Aberdeen games, if we played both of these sides four times each we would probably be looking at six wins out of eight. Fulham from the Championship would probably get a hatful against both of these teams looking at some of the defending tonight.

If we played Celtic or Rangers next week I’d go for a 2/3 nil defeat if it was away or 1-0 home loss.
Long ball Burnley have won one yes ONE game all season compared to prolific winners who win every week.
Deluded fanbase who think we are a good team

Celtic have Joe Hart in goal and Rangers have Scottie A running their midfield

What a load of crap the big firm stuffing us ! I didn’t see anyone saying it last week when Ross county got a draw late on with rangers some people are deluded and have no respect for the club, players and staff after all the good times get behind them in a rare low moment.
