Weghort looked quality and good game from Roberts also another point towards safety
A win would have been nice but the conditions were atrocious .

Our best player tonight, Tarks, is leaving for nothing at the end of the season.

Dyche has just said “Barnsey is coming back soon”, Hurrah, he could be a season changer.

By the time Vydra is due to return, he will be a world beater again.

My personal positive is that I won’t have to watch several of our players play for us again after this season.

Won’t take as long to get home from the turf when we drop down the leagues.

I didn't have to get up at 4:30am to watch it

Roberts looked good and had some urgency to get the ball forward.

Cornet back, played 90, looked dangerous I thought.

Weghorst fit in well and looked more dangerous than Wood.

We didn’t lose and probably should’ve done on the night.

Rovers lost.

Weghorst showed some nice touches-have a feeling had Wood played tonight he would have had a stinker

His knock on in the 1st half and his touch past the defender at the start of the 2nd were both very good.

Also second clean sheet in a row. We need wins but they’ll be a lot easier to come by if we keep solid defensively.

Plenty I could say on the negative side but I think these are fair positives.

Not many TBH, but here goes.

Clean sheet
Pope looked back to his best.
Another 90 mins for Roberts & Stephens.
Cornet & Weghorst look like they'll form a useful partnership given time, and Jay was lively when he came on, and he could have nicked a winner.
A point is better than nothing, but in reality it probably won't be enough come the end of the season.
5 PL games unbeaten at home now, the problem is 4 of those 5 have resulted in draws.

The only positive was that the bag of quavers floating around the pitch was better to watch than any of our football.

We are in serious trouble and more likely to go down than stay up. We have to make the second half of the season as competitive as possible and see where that takes us

We do have something to build on

Only 7 teams have conceded less than our 27 goals we have kept 5 clean sheets

We have taken points from 11 games only 9 teams have lost less

We are heavily reliant on Cornet - he has returned from the AFCON fit and well missing only 1 league game - which yielded an unexpected point

Aside from Taylor our best starting 11 are all available

The covid related disruption should be behind us and we can get back into a regular fixture pattern

We still have half of our fixtures left

There's probably a longer list of negatives but we are where we are and we have to get on with it. Theoretically at least it's not all over yet

There is more chance of Boris Johnson still being at No.10 than us being in the Premier League come May.

Sorry. I was just following on from Earby’s post. No it isn’t a positive but if you want a positive from me there will be some good away days in the Championship next season. There you go.

Had some excellent beers in Halifax during the afternoon before the game. Can't think of any others.

I also saw a black baseball cap that was blown onto the pitch and I was impressed that it was faster and covered more ground in four minutes than our entire midfield did in 90 plus
