Reading some of the expat posts, just wondering what weird and wonderful places people have watched BFC abroad.
For me, I watched the Lincoln cup match in a 13th storey bar in Shibuya, Tokyo. The toilets there had televisions in the bowl so didn't miss a piece of the action (sadly). Had to explain to the locals that Burnley were supposedly the better side.

at least you could show your disgust and do a number 2 on the proceedings

I watched Burnley v Spurs on Saturday 23rd February, 2019 in the British Bulldog in Denver. The game kicked off at 6:30 in the morning Denver time. The bar opened early for EPL games. More than 6 inches of snow had fallen overnight. There were two of us in the bar watching the game, me and a local Spurs fan - and the bar man, of course. Burnley won, 2-1. Wood and Barnes for Burnley and Harry Kane for Spurs.
I'd been in the bar the previous w/end, Chelsea v Arsenal, at a more reasonable time. The bar was packed out with all local Chelsea and Arsenal fans. I was the only Brit in the bar and one of very few people there who had been to Stamford Bridge and the Emirates. Many of the fans had never travelled outside the USA.

I once watched a Burnley game at Turf Moor. Cant remember exactly but I think I was sat in the Bob Hargreaves Stand. I didn't enjoy it much and have not been back since

I don't know whether I should post now after LS7's post!!
But you knew I would, didn't you, lol.
used to do a meeting with my client rep every Saturday or Sunday (some times both) in Sakhalin Island, Far East Russia, he was a Sunderland supporter and it was when they were EPL. It was evening and we would have dinner and drinks, discuss previous week and week to come work plans. A lot of people in the meetings commented over time, how surprised they were with the meetings and that we were so aligned, pub was always full of Brits, few Dutch and Russians.
I enjoyed going to a local pub in the Philippines on Saturday & Sunday evenings, not a lot of people in watching football and the would mostly accommodate me when I requested the BFC games, but not always.

Not a game but I watched the end of the transfer window when we signed Ashley Westwood, from a Bar in Krakow.
Then I watched the win over Leicester on my phone in a hotel on Krakow whilst the girlfriend at the time was mad at me.

Not watching but for the York game I was in a hotel in a tiny place in Montana and had to phone the club to find out the result - someone eventually answered and I attempted a somersault, broke the bed and did my back in

I lived in Dubai, and I traveled back to the UK to go to Turf Moor to watch a promotion game being relayed to the ground. I think we were away at Scunthorpe. So, yes, the Bob Lord not so obscure, but buying a plane ticket to watch a game on TV there is!

3-2 win over Palace in a small bar outside Lungi Airport, Sierra Leone. My celebration of the Barnes late winner amused the locals!

I watched us play away at Brighton in an intensive care ward at a hospital in Rio. My wife spent 6 weeks in there and the only Burnley game covered was this one.

Not really that obscure but have watched Burnley games in a few resorts in Turkey over the years such as Hisaronu, Icmeler, Olu Deniz and Turunc.
Always good craic especially if there are fans of the opposing team in the same bar

If you know Denver, LS7, you will know that the Rockies dominate the skyline to the west. I didn't go skiing on the day I watched Burnley beat Spurs. However, I was skiing in Winter Park at up to 12,000 feet the next day. I'm pretty certain it will be the only time I will ski in the Rockies.
Eddie is younger than me, I think. So, maybe he's got time to more skiing in the Rockies and other regions.
I want to try the dry ski slopes on Pendle Hill sometime, though I can imagine it will be very busy after Dave Rydings heroics.

Was on a cruise and in a Spanish port. Every bar was showing Real Madrid v Barcelona, for some reason.
Managed to find a Turkish kebab shop which had a TV. Asked if they could get Arsenal v Burnley. After a chat amongst themselves, one said "Arsenal - they have Mesut Ozil?" I said that's right. They whisked through their channels and there it was. Game ended with me having 10 mins to get vack on board and it was a sprint away (I don't do sprints).
Just made it snd they pulled up the gangway steps!

I watched the 2009 league cup semi final home leg rollercoaster against Spurs in the middle of the night in Islamabad, Pakistan. Gutted. But also very, very proud.

I watched highlights of our 2009 pre season games in the USA on a pay by the minute Internet terminal in a grotty amusement arcade in Tenerife.
No air conditioning, it was the hottest I'd ever been watching us play.
It all seemed a little bit magical with our first Premier League season beckoning.

I watch Burnley in my local pub in Japan when the K.O. time and my life permits. Any other foreign fans request their team and they get turned down. Burnley are always priority. I did once share with a Newcastle fan though, as we were drinking together. There is another bar nearby so we swapped bars for 45 minutes. Also watched Burnley v Everton at a resort type bar in Koh Samui. The owner was a Reading fan and rejected a Man United fan's request. Good lad!

Also watched the United game when Defour scored that free kick and we were up 2-0 only to draw 2-2 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Not TV as per the OP but I did listen to score updates for this game on the BBC World Service:
Sat 19 Mar 94
Burnley 3 - Philliskirk 30, Heath 58, McMinn 90
Bristol Rovers 1 - 67
I was digging a snow cave in Hjerkinn, Norway ready to spend the night. The daily temperature was -32C but we had to endure the biggest storm in years with winds over 60mph!

I watched Burnley vs Reading the play off semi 2009 Paterson and Thompson goals from Basra Iraq. I was sat in a mini Bunker breeze blocks with a steel roof for obvious reasons, that passed as my bed space.
Not an obscure place really but a random journey I travelled back from Germany for the 1994 play off final. Flew into Heathrow the day before, got a train to Burnley then travelled to Wembley and back to Burnley after the game on a Fan bus. Then travelled back down to Heathrow to fly back to Germany. It was amazing and part of it was travelling down with other fans but I can’t for the life of me now understand why I didn’t stay in London. Although that weekend do cost about £800 without hotels so maybe gay is why I can’t remember.

Shibuya, eh. Do you work in Tokyo? I used to. Re: the Lincoln match. I watched some of it in a bar in Phnom Penh.
