I would normally agree with this but Tuesday v Man United had Heroes and Times like these played at about 20% (due to being completely turned down, does nothing to improve atmosphere) but then when the teams came out, the volume was instantly turned up to 100% to play that dreadful ostinato of a ‘tune’.

A perfectly decent sound system is in place; I feel that it is just operated nowhere near as well as it could be.

It’s really not the quality is shocking.

Needs a brand new PA - the dialogue from the stadium announcer in certain parts of the ground is nigh on unbearable

The speakers in the Bob Lord appear to not be switched on. Either that or some of the amps are not switched on. It really needs someone who knows what they are doing to walk around the whole ground and check the levels.
Also I would only have music played until about 5 mins before kick off, then leave it off so that the fans can sing and create their own atmosphere. Simple.

I can only hear about 50% of any words spoken over the tannoy, it seems mumbled. Not sure of that is my ears, the system, or the person talking.

The music we come out to does nothing for me. You want something to rouse the soul, to pump the crowd up. It currently feels like the start of a channel 5, Bank Holiday period drama film.

It's bloody awful - probably one of the easiest things any club can actually do right is just press play on some stimulating tune when their teams come out, and at a good volume to get the crowd going. How can we possibly get something so simple so very wrong!!

There is so much wrong with the use of our PA system it’s difficult to know where to start

It either too loud or too quiet, depending on who is speaking, the “main guy” or “Ian in the stands for the scores” (why it needs two people is another question)

The music played pre-match, half time, full time is like a 90,s kids party. Recently we’ve heard B’witched and Hanson

And my number one gripe is being told to “MAKE SOME NOISE AND WELCOME BURNLEY”

I really like the music pre- walk out, and I like the Imagine Dragons "On top of the world song" as it reminds me of Pro Evolution Soccer

However the walk out music is bloody awful and needs changing

Sat in the stand pre match on Sunday and I thought the music was like being in the kids disco at an inclusive in Majorca, it was bloody awful

I found it amusing last week when played MU that the away fans kept thinking the the music had stopped and started to cheer only to be drowned out by another long bar of music !

I would get the players to choose the walkon music, something to help get them pumped and ready to go.
