If you can't get a ticket in the away end,why come in the home ends,and put yourself and kids in trouble and wear your colours and generally take the ****?

Saw a few weeks back the block nearest the Liverpool fans in the Bob Lord sold out first, then the block nearest the tunnel in JML also sold out quick.
Possibly the worst views snd seats in the house.

Ps there's always talk of Burnley fans going in the home ends at old Trafford etc and nothings said.

If they behave, imo its fine. They're putting money into our club.
If you don't like it, pull them up, or if you don't have the b0llocks for that, then report them to a steward.

Same as Utd game - lots of new faces around us and whether they were football tourists, locals who support the away fans - not seen any trouble from them and if they put money into club - who cares.

It doesn't bother me as long as they're respectful. There were 3 kids than ran on the field at the end of the game I think they were probably Liverpool fans, I've not seen that happen before at TM and they ran towards the Liverpool players

Saw a woman in the Bob Lord Stand get a Burnley shirt given to her at full time by Mo Salah, she wasn’t impressed, she doesn’t want the shirt, she wanted his Under Amour, shorts or his boots, anything but the Burnley shirt… but she we given Alison’s jersey afterwards though. Both were stuffed inside her coat ready for eBay probably.

One he'd swapped with one of our players.

I saw the TV in the concourse and unless I'm mistaken the lady Allison gave his shirt to had a Burnley hat and scarf on.

Man United game the employees pulling pints in the cricket field before the game were blocking all the exits behind where I was sat shouting stuff like “cmon pogba” and “cmon United “

Goto any other sport and fans mix together no problems. Few fans in the home end, what’s the issue? If they are jigging around giving it plenty then it’s not right, but that’s not the case here.

What's the issue,Wearing Liverpool colours in the home end,giving it the big un,with there kids with them.

There was a Liverpool fan near us and honestly couldn’t give a toss. Rather him sat there than an empty seat.

Reports of flasks being thrown and one supporter being seriously dampened by luke-warm Horlicks.

It’s happened countless times this season. I’ve had Leeds and Arsenal fans in the seat next to me this season and I’ve seen and heard lots of other side’s fans in and amongst the stand I sit in.

I’ve emailed the club but had no response back. I’m of the opinion that this shouldn’t be happening. We have home and away sections and tickets should be sold accordingly. I can only assume the club doesn’t carry out any checks whatsoever.

Doesn’t bother me having away supporters around me where I sit in the Bob Lord but today unlike for Man Utd there seemed to be a lot of younger Liverpool fans being a bit more vocal.

Segregation doesn’t help, be it football, culture, religion or wherever…….2 blokes sat behind us Liverpool fans and good bants ……doesn’t bother me nor should it.

Was definitely noticeable in the Bob Lord when I went down to the concourse at HT. And they were obviously proper scousers, not just people who live in the Burnley area and followed Liverpool.

I find it such a bizarre concept that people cannot sit next to each other, as rivals, at a football match.

Obviously should said rival be offering violence to everyone around them, then that is clearly out of order.

But to not be able to sit next to someone of the opposition and for it to make you angry, it is seriously weird.

There were a few Liverpool fans near me, one or two Burnley fans were aggressive towards them (one LFC fan had a scarf on and one Burnley fan said it "was f'in ridiculous..."). None of the LFC fans got up an cheered when they scored. Though really, in a non football world, why shouldn't they? The tribal nonsense of football is unique and there can still be a great atmosphere without that rabid tribalism.

There's enough crap to deal with in life, this really need not be part of that crap. Basically if you were bothered by non violent opposition fans being sat near you, then get a grip.

Why should home fans have to sit next to away fans in the home ends,When there is a stand especially for the away support..If you can't get a ticket for that end don't go to the game.All it does is cause tension in the seats and in the concourse.

I general I don’t mind seeing fans mixing, especially families with young children from away teams who want to enjoy the match without the hustle and bustle, frequent standing and the drunks an away end tends to bring with it. You can have a good natter if they know their stuff.

It’s the small minority who spoil it.

As for the lady asking for match worn clobber, there has to be an line drawn somewhere… and I think it should be about 15 years old…

Genuinely love to know more about the mindset of people who this makes angry. I mean, you know there are people in the away end who support a different football team to you. You can see them, and hear them. And if you're in the Bob Lord or CFS, you're about 10 yards away from them. And everyone is cool with that.

So what's the problem if they take a seat near you if no Burnley fans want it? Why does that bother you at all? I've had a Spurs fan sat next to me before, it actually made for an interesting insight into the game. He was very discrete, as was the Liverpool fan yesterday but if he'd celebrated a goal it wouldn't have bothered me.

It's not the 80s, there weren't lunatic 'firms' looking to take over the Bob Lord stand yesterday. It's just a few fans watching their team because not enough Burnley fans want to watch our team.

The only way to stop it is to make the away end bigger.

2300 is a pitiful amount of tickets for the big clubs.

It' been great to see Turf Moor sold out for the last two games. Lots of families and children wanting pictures with the likes of Ronaldo, Salah and so on... a great opportunity to push those season tickets because if families are seeing that their kids are enjoying the experience in the home ends, it might encourage them to commit to a buying a season ticket.

I had 2 United fans sat next to me the other night who I got tickets for and there was one sat behind me. I asked another mate from Liverpool if he wanted to come up for the game with his lads but he declined.

Don't see anything wrong with away fans sitting in home fans areas as long as they behave themselves and are respectful

A Liverpool supporting mate of mine and his Grandad went in the Bob Lord close to the Jimmy Mac, he was very complimentary about the atmosphere he said it was very loud ? It didn’t sound so good on TV.

I think that quite a few on here are missing the point. Yesterday during the first half the Liverpool fans said nothing, they were accepted by the home fans. After their HT visit to the toilet cubicle, the atmosphere became intimidating to the extent of it not feeling safe in there. Burnley fans were subjected to verbal abuse which could have quite easily escalated. The stewards were more than happy to stand and watch.

How does that work at Fulham when all the facilities underneath the stand are shared and there is a neutral part of the stand where, home, away and neutral fans can sit?

The reason I don't want rival supporters in the same end as me is because I prefer that atmosphere of "us and them".

The day fans of different teams all sit together applauding each other's goals is the day I stop going.

I didn't mind one bit the Liverpool fans aat near me, I got a Playstation 5 and a new iPhone for no money at all.

I watched it on the tablet from abroad and it was constant singing from both ends in the 2nd half - the commentators mentioned it a few times "The Burnley fans certainly have not given up". He obviously doesn't visit this board!

Did nobody go to matches before it was all seater, fans mixing in the beehole end wasn`t an unusual occurrence and there was very little trouble and that was at a time when hooliganism was prevalent, stewards are a waste of time in the situations described, just really a token gesture. Personally I have no problem with opposition fans, I go to probably about half of the away matches and drink in the local pubs with their fans without any problems, I understand if they become confrontational then that`s when stewards should step in.
