Cornet shouting at Dyche?

After 10/15 minutes, a long ball went 20 yards over Cornets head and the commentator said Cornet (who was near Dyche) shouted at his manager that he won't put up with that. That he wants the ball to feet.
But the camera didn't show the incident and I know how much commentators make things up.
So did this incident happen? Anyone see or hear it?

There did appear to be a discussion between the two of them, but no idea how the commentator would know what was said

I noticed, even from the CFS that Cornet was having words.... I don't blame him. He's quick but not that quick.

I saw them having a conversation minutes just before our goal being conceded. Clearly couldn't hear what was said but it was likely to have been something about Cornet needing to get back as he was playing CF as a left winger.
Guy next to me blamed Dyche for the goal as thinks that the conversation could have waited til HT.
Also saw him trying to instruct Cornet to move position late in 2nd half. Genuinely get the feeling that he is still learning our style of play

It's great that Maxwell has picked up English so quickly... or that Sean Dyche also speaks French... as does the commentator.

TV showed Sean Dyche signalling just before Dwight McNeil was brought on. From the way he signalled it was obvious Jay Rod was going off and Dyche was telling Maxwel Cornet to move upfront.

I was in bob lord and saw it. Thought it was later than that in the first half though. Ball launched aimlessly down wing, Cornet instantly turned and shouted something to dyche as he was pin high to him. Dyche seemed to waive a impression of a spider at him

and said something. Not sure what it was but was a encouraging type of comment.
The ball was aimlessly but I'm not sure if Cornet was in a good position to receive it.
I thought at the time that it's the first time ive seem Cornet look like he didn't like how we were playing.
I'm not sure where he should play personally. I'd try him right wing cutting in.

I wonder if the commentator who 'heard' this speaks French or Baoulé? I saw them talking from about 10m apart but didn't quite catch all the conversation other than 'hell Sean how can I play in this weather' in Baoulé of course.

It was after this that I saw dyche and woan telling him to move further back towards bob lord stand to create more space between him and Barnes.
I sat nr the benches last time we played this fixture and you heard quite a lot down there. Don't know how people watch the game sat there as it was so distracting with the amount of instruction going on to the bench/field. Nothing I saw would indicate any issues.

Towards the end when Liverpool were keeping the ball at the back looked like Barnes was asking/telling him to close down Matip
Don't think he's as effective centrally although we really struggled to get him involved when he was wide
He looks a bit jaded after the AFCON. The weather/conditions not really suiting his game either at the moment

Dyche was speaking to Cornet, not really the other way round. Interestingly, Dyche spent a bit of time pointing things out to McNeill during the first half.

Thing is, if he'd said that Cornet hasn't been as good as he was when he first came into the team, that would have been perfectly fine and hard to argue with
But he's one of the absolute wrong uns on here that have to out do each other with just how bad everything is, and he's gone all in with some utter bilge before anyone else has a chance to do it
It wrecks the board, makes him look like a t*t and I just don't get why you'd do it

Same with Salah. I watched Napoli v Inter yesterday too and Koulibaly was also miles off it. Completely different intensity, climate and mentality to change.

I saw something but assumed it was Dyche bollocking Cornet for being out of position. Must say he hasn’t looked the same player
since he came back from the AFCON.

It looked like Dyche giving Cornet an ear full for being a mile out of position when we lost the ball.

They DEFINITELY had words straight after the ball was played up the line into space and way over Cornet's head. It "appeared" like they openly disagreed which ain't good when the game is unfolding right in front of them, but it passed quickly and I guess they moved on. Nothing to see here!!

I shouldn’t worry to much about it, sounds just like the manager coaching a player from the touchline.

I'm glad he spoke up about the launching of balls upfield instead of passing it to feet.
The only way we will improve is if it comes from the players themselves.
I was just checking if it happened. But I'm glad he has the character to stick up for what is right.

What wrecks the board is posters like you constantly digging people out who have a different opinion about players , manager , or financial matters .

Cornet was terrible today. Him shouting at Dyche or Dyche shouting at him doesn't solve the problem of where we play Cornet.

100% you’ve got people discussing cornet & from that moment onwards his contributions got the potential to turn the thread into a different direction & often does & people end up discussing something else or it descends into people arguing, anyway I hope his plan fails & people continue to discuss cornet shouting at dyche.

Doesn’t matter where he plays if you keep wanging it 20 yds over his head even Messi wouldn’t be effective. Just play the ball to the feet of your best players. How hard is that?

Ball to feet all day, we can't do anything with the ball when it's 30 feet in the bloody air and especially when it's blowing a gale.

Call it a personal crusade if you will, but people who talk complete ******** will be called out for talking complete ********
I don't mind people with criticism based on reality, but as I have already said, there is a small group of posters who wind themselves up to such an extent and desperately try to out do each other in their criticism that you'd almost think they were a parody of themselves

Thing is, in the first half we used the ball over the top really effectively to turn the Liverpool defence
I thought we did a lot right yesterday, more than a lot, and we were only let down by the failure to take the two or three really good chances we had (I think the other good chances were offside) and some slack (but still unlucky) defensive play at a corner
Its very rare you leave a game v Liverpool thinking we should have won, but we really should have won
Certainly I was expecting a better reaction on here from it, but some posters decided to go all in as usual sadly

It looked to me like the ball was played into the channel and Cornet was about to aimlessly chase it when Dyche told him to hold his position on the wing.
Certainly seemed like nothing other than Dyche giving Cornet instructions and there didn’t seem to be a disagreement at all.
