Tonight's footy 15/2

Champions League games tonight, but as no-one cares about them I'll mention the other fixtures.
Utd-Brighton naturally
Millwall-QPR is a tasty London derby in the Champ, come on QPR a win takes them above Rovers.
Dunne starts, Austin, Gray & Hendrick on the bench.
Sheff Utd are also making a late charge for at least a PO place, if not even an automatic return to the top flight.
Joey's Bristol Rovers still have an outside shot at the play-off's due to their games in hand, but they'll need to go some, tough one tonight for them at home to Sutton, who themselves are eyeing back-to-back promotions, and in their 1st ever FL season, they could well be heading straight up to League 1 at the 1st time of asking.

I see the CL games have gone to an 8pm ko. Why?
ManU v BHA is 815pm, madness.

I assume the god that is TV dictates KO times, it is crazy for Man U-Brighton to be 8.15 on a week night though, yet again the fans actually attending are bottom of the pile.

Who doesn’t want a 520 mile round trip on a Tuesday? Oh wait let’s put it to 8.15 too. Ridiculous.

Aberdeen behind early.

Look forward to or endure? I don't follow the Championship avidly, but from those who do on here, the standard isn't great seemingly.

Fulham look a class apart, but yes the rest are much of a muchness going off results and the league table.
What offers me encouragement is the amount of teams who've made an instant return in recent seasons, and there does appear to be a growing gap between the relegated PL teams, and the Championship sides.
Surely if Norwich & Watford can easily jump back up there's no reason why we can't, should the worst come to the worst.

Been to a few WBA games this season and although they play a completely different style to us it is evident that teams can get dragged down to poorer teams levels quickly down there, that’s the only thing that worries me if we go down.

Yeah.
And depressingly, some donut has started a thread on here about how delightful it would be to return there.
Watching Man U/Brighton, pretty lively start.

Somebody posted on here recently that they played just like us.
Totally agree that you can quickly get dragged down and that West Brom v Blackburn game last night was absolutely dreadful.

If it's on the tv I can't find it. Which makes 8.15 even stranger.

I decided to do a couple of little bets on tonight's Champions League games' scores- just for interest. Went for 1-0 to PSG and 0-2 in the City game in Portugal. City already up 3-0 though so that one's b***ered.
Fingers crossed QPR beat Millwall and move to 3rd.

Just read on the MEN it’s that time as not to clash with the start of the CL games, no thought for the fans at all.

City got the easiest possible draw, so let's see how they fare when they finally meet a decent side, if recent history is a guide they'll find a way to mess it up again.

City could get Padiham reserves in the final and Pep would make some inconceivable tactical decision again. Out thinks himself.

Indeed! at least we gave City a game, I guess this just highlights how poor the Portuguese league actually is.
And if City don't take their foot of the gas this could be a rout over 2 legs.

Only a great save by De Gea keeps Brighton from taking the lead, bossing United.

QPR 1-0 down, does anyone actually want to come up from the Champ.
2-0 Bristol Rovers, Barton seems to have got them on somewhat of a roll recently.

They lack the fear factor they used to possess, often teams were beaten before they walked out to face them, now this simply isn't the case, and teams know they can get a result against Utd.

I'm pretty sure that rule has been stopped for this season anyway, due to the fixture pile-up, but I could be wrong.
1-0 Utd Ronaldo, not deserved but Brighton paying for missed chances, sound familiar.
