One of SD's greatest attributes is his relationship with players and and his concern for their wellbeing.

Good luck to the lad. I hope his mental issues are truly behind him with this run of form and contribution. He has surprised me and I suspect the great majority of those following this Board.Long may it continue

Can’t believe he’s playing this well. Fair play.
400+ top flight games, 21 England caps. It shouldn't be that unbelievable.

He’s been brilliant the last few games . His work rate had been first class. I think his relationship with Roberts is developing well and is going to be key for us . Excellent today and great goal.

He looks so fit, hungry and sharp. Better than when he was here before. Like the old Lennon today. Magnificent

He's rolling back the years in the last three games, and I hope it continues

He has definitely had periods with us where he's been ineffective, but at the moment he looks hungry and sharp. Was absolutely brilliant today, long may this form continue. He's certainly standing up to the challenge we have in front of us

I can’t believe it’s only 21 caps. I seem to remember him playing for years. Funny how your mind plays tricks like that

I haven't seen today's performance, but Lennon has been my MoM last 2 home games, amazing work rate. What a turnaround from firstly me not wanting him in the team to actually being quite excited to see his name on the team list.
Probably shows how poor my football knowledge is more than anything.

Great performance today.

Thought the team today looked to have good balance and there were 10 other good performances to match his.

It was a shock to see Tarks and Westy missing, but the team on the pitch did look balanced, even before kick off. Every player in his right position, doing what comes natural to them. It does make a big difference.

Today saw him make up 30 yards on one of their players after we lost the ball, it was magnificent to watch.

He's been superb recently, great to watch.

Agree with this - unbelievable off the ball, which is great to see. That vision for the pass and the well taken goal is just the icing on the cake.

A confidence player that looks full of it at the moment, he’s worked really hard for the last few games and getting his just reward. I’m really pleased for the lad.

Instrumental in the team that got us over the line into Europe in the second half of that season….but never got the credit he deserved. Well done Aaron!

Absolutely fair play to AL. That pass to Roberts was top drawer and his goal was sublime.

I'll willingly hold my hand up and say I was underwhelmed when he came back.

Was absolutely superb v Brighton, after the last 2 team performances you could see this win coming, but Aaron was instrumental in breaking play up, and linking with jrod and Wout, but every one of them linked so well today, and as quite a few have said we had good balance. It's just got to be Wout that's given us this extra dimension.

I’ll be needing a good sized slab of humble pie where Lennon is concerned. Thought he’d be in and around the squad but didn’t think he’d make many significant contributions to the first team. Pleased to see he’s affecting games and looks hungry!

Sorry but have just watched the goals for the millionth time (at least).

If you watch the build up to JB's goal, take a look at what AL does. Yes, players should make all sorts of runs to draw defenders away and also give the man in possession options but maybe we haven't been doing it enough. Whatever, Aaron Lennon shows just how to do it.

When the ball's in the air and he sees WW holding it up he makes a long run from right to left and finds himself unmarked. No defender tracks him and he would have been unmarked and in a good position if Brownhill had crossed.

And there is the key to it. The ball sticks to Wout and he brings others into the game and as a result our forward movement off the ball is starting to show positive results. As you rightly say a player of Lennon's quality and experience knows where to go so he's in a good position to receive and he has made space for someone else at the same time

He is playing as an attacking right winger not a late game 2nd right wing back.
He always had the ability he has now been allowed to use it because the approach of the team has changed
