Weghorst 9 - he's like a combination of Wood and Barnes - great game. Links play well and his first goal was a cracker

Rodriguez 7 - worked with with Weghorst. I'd be tempted to start him again on Wednesday and bring on Dwight later in the great like against Liverpool


All in all a very impressive performance - keep this momentum and we can avoid the drop. Make no mistake Brighton are a decent side this season and we made them look like they were bottom of the league

Roberts 8 great assist - that pace overlapping is exactly what we’ve wanted at right back for years.
Collins 8 always solid
Mee 7 standard - although not too much to do today.
Pieters 6 quieter one on the ball although he did well with lamptey who is rapid.
Lennon 8 looks to be in the best form for years. He’s still pretty quick - wish he’d use it more just absolutely send it down the line!
Brownhill 8 great for him to get first prem goal. I’ve been a big fan of his for a while now but recently he’s got the credit he deserves. Should be getting in and around the box like that as he’s quick and can shoot.
Cork 7 solid
McNeil 6 thought he has a quiet one, although good little finish with his RIGHT foot for the offside goal!
Weghorst 8 he’s a top footballer and the perfect Burnley striker.
Cornet 7 looks dangerous whenever he has the ball and great movement at times. We need to find a way to utilise him best as he could be immense with weghorst. Took one for the team in the end nipping in front of a swinging boot.
Jay 7 looking good - great option.

Excellent from us in most areas. WW is at least 2 times the player Wood was. Thought Brownhill dominated the centre, Collins looked very solid. Cornet doesn't look quite the same player at the minute, not sure he's 100 percent fit. Roberts got an assist and attacked better today but second half backed away from the opposition far too many times. Pieter's had an ok first half but was excellent in the second, with Lamptey in his pocket for most of it!

Excellent team performance, continued the performance level from United and Liverpool for a big 3 points. Shoutout to Collins who once again was excellent coming into the side and looks a natural at this level, Lennon who provided two outstanding moments of quality, Brownhill who picked up where he left off against Liverpool + added a goal, and WW who is just the perfect Burnley and Dyche striker.

I don’t usually comment on other poster’s marks as it is all about opinions but anyone who gives our centre halves less than an 8 are just looking for an argument. They were both imperious in difficult conditions.

Didn't go and havn't watched the game but its great to see Josh Brownhill being on the score sheet and having another good game. Keep up the good work.

I dont think anyone was out of this world and Id probably only give 3 9's (maybe 4) with the majority on 8 and a couple of 7's. I would say your marks are as ridiculously high as Newcastle's are as ridiculously low but if thats what you and Newcastle think then fair enough

I'd say an average player rating that translates to excellent is closer than one of above average. Not sure how someone can give an average rating of 6.6 when we won three nil away from home - against a side that only Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea had lost fewer games than before today - and played so well, and yet the same poster said it was of our best ever PL performances - how the **** does that correlate.
