3 from 10
3 from 10
It looked like 3 from 4 for a long while but now that huge gap seems to be closing weekly. Teams like Villa, Leicester and Brentford seem to have stalled. At Xmas they were safe… now a continuation of their bad form and they will be right in it. Everton’s bounce looks short lived so they are right there too.

3 from 7 for me, I can't see anyone above Brentford being in danger, Brentford and Everton are both in dreadful form, and but for their bright starts to the season would be in deep trouble, you'd imagine Everton will have enough to pull clear, Brentford I'm not so sure, and if we can get a victory there it would really put the cat among the pigeons.andyh wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 6:01 pmIt looked like 3 from 4 for a long while but now that huge gap seems to be closing weekly. 3 from 7 for me too but I can't really see Leeds or Newcastle going gown.
Norwich and Watford are history with 1 from Burnley, Everton and Brentford.
We still need lots of wins

Would have agreed about Watford had they not appointed Hodgson.
Lampard could be a terrible appointment at Everton and they could (but shouldn't) be bang in trouble.
Leeds aren't out of it.
Newcastle should have too much.
Brentford have to be the target.

Villa one win in eight we have to play them twice and two games in hand on them if the roles were reversed think a lot of Burnley fans would be worried

Palace also on a poor run. A few of teams looking over their shoulders a little nervously, I fancy.
Would be good to beat them next week after letting them off the hook on The Turf.

Have a look at Evertons march and April, they'll be lucky to get 3 more points

Newcastle have had some real luck over the last 4 or 5 games. They can't keep that up. Aside from St Maximan rhet are a fairly poor side

I also think it’s 3 from 7. Of those bottom 7 we have the best GD and if we can maintain the tight defence and continue scoring goals we will have a real chance of staying up. I think Norwich, Watford and Brentford will go down.

Re: 3 from 10
Just like we had a dreadful first half of the season, its possible that some of the sides lying 10th-16th will have a dreadful second half. We just need to keep putting points on the board and minimise our losses, then we can close the gap on sides like Everton, Brentford, Palace and maybe several more

Newcastle for sure are still in the mix. Especially since the Trippier injury

That's all we can do keep chipping away, ever point is vital not every game is a must, the Watford game for me was a must not lose and keep in touch like staying in every game.warksclaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 9:10 amJust like we had a dreadful first half of the season, its possible that some of the sides lying 10th-16th will have a dreadful second half. I'm convinced simpering Eddie with his injuries will stall and his shocked Dougal from father Ted persona will return.

Re: 3 from 10
After our terrific result yesterday I think the teams just above us will be looking over their shoulder slightly worried. Brentford and Everton are in freefall. Newcastle should have enough but with Agent Trippier out for the season and Agent Wood unable to hid a barn door they may not continue this run of form. Worth noting that Palace haven't won for a while and we play them soon.
Re: 3 from 10
Obviously teams that reach 40 points will be more or less safe. However there are a lot of teams that look like they will struggle to get there.
