Great performance

Pope 8- When called on came up big
Roberts 7- Solid
Tarks 8- Superb performance aside from a very early slip-up.
Mee 9- nearly bollocksed it late on overplaying it, but otherwise immense. Great goal.
Pieters 7- exposed on occasion but energetic,
Lennon 7- Tireless, not quite as much attacking intent as recent games but very solid.
Bronwhill 9- What has happened to this guy? Would not know he was the same player.
Cork 9- Cork of old was back tonight. We have missed him.
McNeil 8- Fairly quiet first half aside from that brillliant cross from which Jay was offside. 2nd half really came into it and looked lively.
Weghorst 9 MOM- May not have scored but what an all action performance, he's unreal at winning balls and getting it under control/laying off, looked pacier tonight, was everywhere. Never really got a good chance to score he was so deep but what a player he is.
Rogriguez 7- Offside chance spurned, unlucky with his 2nd half header, really should have killed the game from 5 yards. Still not quite clicking for him but he looks better alongside Weghorst.

Kane, one of the world's best, will rarely play better and end up on the losing side.

Pope 6 - thought he could have taken control on a couple of occasions by claiming the ball but was perhaps being more cautious due to the conditions. A few iffy kicks also. Hard to mark him higher as very little to.do otherwise.
Roberts 8 - thought he played really well this evening. Fantastic energy and a good understanding with Lennon emerging.
Tarkowski 8 - rock solid.
Mee 7 - one bad mistake in the first half, fantastic header for.the goal. He wanted it more than the Spurs player.
Pieters 7 - another really solid game from Eric. Taylor is going to have a fight on his hands to get back in.
Lennon 7 - his work ethic is fantastic and he looks a lot more confident and willing to show for the ball than earlier in the season.
Brownhill 8* - another fantastic performance and assist. Spurs gave him too much space. Some.really.good set pieces, looks confident.
Cork 8 - played very well, did the dirty stuff and looks to have that spring back in his step.
McNeil 8 - fantastic ball for Jay's chance and some moments of sheer class. His energy off the ball has been much better since being dropped.
Jay 8 - didn't stop all game, some nice linkup play. Expected him to score his chance.
Weghorst 7 - perhaps not as involved as in recent games but his work- rate is phenomenal and he gives us a platform to play from.

Another fantastic performance full of energy and some real moments of quality. We've given ourself a chance, a huge few months ahead and we have to keep this level of performance going.

Pope 8 - safe hands in difficult conditions
Roberts 9 - thought he was excellent, up and down the right until the very end
Tarkowski 9 - another committed and resolute performance
Mee 9 - captain pops up with a potentially season defining goal
Pieters 7 - good defensively but a bit limited going forward
Lennon 8 - everywhere again
Brownhill 9* - hard to choose a man of the match but he is in outstanding form right now, was the best midfielder on the pitch for me
Cork 9 - very good, calm in possession and provides that solidity
McNeil 9 - some superb wing play, arguably his best performance of the season
Weghorst 9 - I just love him, link up, work rate, tackling, he is the difference to our turn in form - no doubt
Rodriguez 8 - worked himself into the ground and linked it nicely at times, though had to score that chance

McNeil - 9* - superb. Back to his best. Could see the confidence grow in him as the game went on.

Rodriguez - 8 - questions over him from some quarters a few weeks back, but ultimately he’s just a bloody good footballer. Looks to be building a great understanding with Weghorst
Weghorst - 8 - this lad puts a proper shift in, holds it up well and brings others into play so much better and quicker than Wood did

A really good team performance against a very strong Spurs team. We looked really balanced again. The intensity and belief have returned.

Pope 8..couple of good saves and a great bit of shithousery in added time when he seemed to "lose track" of where the ball was before taking the final goal kick.
Roberts 9...thought he looked a bit shaky when he first came in but he's getting better every game now. An athlete.
Mee 10...not sure what else we could ask of a centre half, including a classic back post headed winner
Tarks 9 ...solid as ever
Pieters 9....outstanding. Never thought I'd say this but I wouldn't put Charlie straight back in
Lennon 8....continued his recent form. His speed is a massive asset defensively.
Cork 8...reborn. Composure personified.
Brownhill 9.....totally transformed this past 3 or 4 games. Looks every inch a top-class Premier League box-to-box midfielder
McNeil 9....superb. Back to his best. Put some great crosses in and a huge defensive shift too.
Weghorst 9....masterful link-up play and the single biggest reason behind our recent improvement. Love him.
Jay Rod 8...looks a good partnership with Wout. Should have scored at least one to calm our nerves but still very good tonight generally.

Best atmosphere at the Turf for a long time I thought and suddenly it feels like we have a bit of togetherness, belief and momentum.
