At least it proves that frontline troops are abiding by some sort of rules of war. You can’t attack unarmed civilians.

You laugh, but what companies are effectively doing is ostracising Russia in any way possible. Advertising, promotion, buying from Russian suppliers and procuring Russian made assets will hurt Putin because his own people will turn on him and, at worst, remove him from power.

As trivial as it seems, every little statement like this will help Ukraine.

Probably the cynic coming out in me but I think there's also a fine line between organisations taking genuine action to support Ukrainians or hurt Russia and exploiting the situation for self-promotion.

If it has he could have been sacked for any number of reasons including proper military ones like a failure to achieve objectives that Putin was told were achievable with the forces at hand.

I think anyone willing and able to take Putin from power will be well aware of his backing. After years of staking Parliament it is going to take someone incredibly brave within the Duma, more likely they will align once a populist leader emerges outside Parliament, those within will start switching sides.

Yeah

They flew Syrians into Belarus, telling them they could cross to the West without an issue, which (of course) turned out to be false

been a huge push here (Vegas) for liquor stores, bars etc to bin the Russian stuff and replace it with Ukrainian and it seems most are getting on board. Sounds trivial, but like you say, every bit hurts Putin

You can be fairly sure that if there is anyone in the world outside Russia who knows how these things work, then the very best online training will be available to the Ukrainians on request. Which will hopefully speed up the learning process.
