Good point and generally a decent enough away point. Lots of hard work from all players. Their wingers caused us a lot of problems but in the end we saw it home well, despite giving an awful first goal away (why didn’t tarks attack the ball in)

Pope 6 - very little to do, a little unsure with his feet on occasion but handled well when called upon.
Roberts 6 - a tough game against wingers that stay very wide but stuck at it.
Tarkowski 6 - thought he was at fault for their first, got the wrong side of Schlupp (albeit could have been offside). Also a little deep in the first half, good in the second.
Mee 6 - solid enough but we were too deep in that first half and he and Tarks have to take some responsibility for that.
Pieters 5 - stuck at it but Olise gave him a tough time.
Lennon 7 - worked hard and did well for the goal. Overcommitted a couple of times but overall a good performance.
Brownhill 7 - a good, high energy performance.
Cork 5 - tough day today and left a little exposed in the first half as we were too deep. Thought he was quite negative in some of his decisions however.
McNeil 7* - a couple of moments of quality, thought he could have been a little more purposeful defensively on a couple of occasions but a good performance.
Weghorst 7 - another hard working performance, a little isolated at times but used the ball well and bought time to get support.
Jay 6 - did OK but couldn't get him involved as much as we'd like..

Palace like to make the pitch big and in the first half we allowed them to do so by playing 10.yardd too deep. It was far too easy for them to get through the midfield in the first half but the second was much improved and we came away with a deserved point which I'd have twken before the game. A huge game midweek and there are some signs of tiredness however we do have bodies coming back so we can now freshen things up if needed which has been a real rarity this season.

HUGE physical output from our players this week. To go again so soon after that massive shift On Wednesday was a big ask - especially for the likes of Cork who hasn’t had much game time recently. Well done to the players to get such a good point! 7 points this week is fantastic.

I am always suspicious when they don’t show the full replay from the correct angle. Looked off from the one replay I saw and the Comm said offside then changed his mind after the goal was allowed. If Schlupp was onside so was Jay

It's been a great 2 weeks and it showed today that we are back to a gritty, hard working team. Palace are a decent side with some very good footballers but after weathering a couple of lively moments we looked to be in control. I wouldn't have dared to dream 3 or so weeks ago but...

Tough on Jack, I thought 2 games in 4 days might be too much for him, but it was 3 in a week that got him.
No surprise that Jack, Eric and Jay are the 3 who suffered most. Hopefully with Cornet, Westy and Taylor all back on the mend we will have fresh legs for Leicester, but all 3 deserve a massive pat on the back for what they have given us this last week. They all still have loads to offer, but we should be selective in their use.
