Those balls won’t work for WW when he wants it to feet.

Cork or Westwood is a proper ‘meh’ choice to have to make but I’d have gone with Cork after Westwood’s horror show against Leicester.

Those balls didn’t work for Wood, Jayrod, Barnes etc either. They are all hit roughly down the channels whether there is a Burnley player there or not. Sorry, nowhere near good enough for the PL.

Said it before but Westwood just needs to vary his play a bit more. Balls in to channels all the time are just so predictable. Great when it works, not great when it's done 10 times a game.

I don't think cornet is 100%... his movement away from the ball seems to be limited. I think he can give a solid 20 minutes if need be but not start.
We went back to the hoofball against Leicester because they pressed up high and in the midfield and we couldn't keep possession. I have no idea why Tottenham didn't do this... they sat WAY far back and let us string some passes along in the midfield.
Hopefully, chelsea takes a page out of the totnum book.... if they press high and fast, we are going to resort to the long back to counter.
Like our chances today.. think we will put in a good shift on defense and will nick at least a goal today.

I thought Tottenham played to catch us on the counter whereas Leicester didn't play that way until they bought on Vardy. Sometimes it works and can be effective, sometimes we deal with it well and it gives us more space. The fact we're so slow doesn't help.
I think Chelsea will play more like Leicester did, unfortunately...but in football, you never know!

This probably sums us up to a T. Leicester seemed insanely fast on closing us down and it really shows how limited Cork and Westwood are when pressed... Brownhill isn't any faster, but seems to be more clever with the ball, to free up time and space.
